June 20, 2026 | Comments Off on Part time Permanent Maternity Nanny for twins needed in West Sussex, starting ASAP
This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Practitioner with a childcare background and proven twin experience to support a family who have recently welcomed twin boys on a permanent basis. The twins are now 6 weeks old, thriving, and settling well into a routine.
The family is seeking afternoon support, as this is the time of day when Mum would most value an extra pair of hands. There is also a 21-month-old daughter in the home; however, she is not the nanny’s responsibility. Mum will be at home for at least the next year and is not planning to return to work during this time, making this a shared-care role focused solely on the twins.
The family is keen to encourage a strong sibling bond and involve the twins in family life with their older sister where appropriate, while also ensuring she continues to enjoy her own independence and one-to-one time with her parents.
The twins are doing very well and are currently bottle-fed every 3–4 hours. The family would love to find someone who can provide knowledgeable and proactive support during the afternoons, bringing confidence in newborn care, a strong understanding of developmental milestones, and hands-on experience caring for twins. A candidate who understands the unique dynamics, routines, and practicalities of caring for multiple babies at the same developmental stage will be highly valued.
It is important that the successful candidate is up to date with current NHS guidance, including safe sleep practices, and can offer reassurance, expertise, and nurturing support as the twins continue to grow and develop.
This can be an employed role or self employed role.
