A lovely family are seeking an experienced Nanny Housekeeper to care for their two children, aged 4 and 8 years, and assist with the smooth running of their home. The ideal candidate will have previous childcare experience and demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and confident demeanour. The family are looking for someone warm, engaging, who can build a strong bond with the children while providing the highest standard of care. They will support the children’s development and wellbeing, while helping to create a happy, organised, and thriving family environment.
The role offers the opportunity to support two delightful children who are creative, active, and full of enthusiasm. They enjoy arts and crafts, love sports, and have a particular interest in performing arts. The family are seeking a fun, engaging nanny who will embrace these interests.
In addition to childcare responsibilities, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the family home. The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to use their initiative. Duties will include bed making, wardrobe management, laundry, meal preparation, and general household organisation, helping to maintain a well-run and organised home.
A careful and confident driver with a full, clean driving licence is essential. Mileage incurred whilst carrying out work-related duties will be reimbursed.

Location of the job: Colchester, Essex
Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
Details of any training needed for this job: A valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate and an Enhanced DBS check (with update service) are required.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Hours of work: 20 hours per week, to be worked over three days. The family can offer flexibility regarding how the hours are arranged.
Days required: Monday and Tuesday, plus either Thursday or Friday as the third working day, depending on the nanny’s preference.
Pets in the home: Yes – one friendly cat and one friendly dog.
Driving required: Yes
Job Start Date: As soon as possible.
Pay: £18.00 Gross per hour / £18,720.00 Gross per annum.
