Nanny and Childcare Specialists

An organised and proactive Housekeeper is required in Castle Cary for this easy going family to help manage the busy home.

There are two children in the home, aged 7 and 4 years so someone who has some childcare experience would be beneficial as there could be times when some help could be required for school runs, babysitting etc. The children both enjoy drawing, the eldest likes art activities and the youngest enjoys cars and has just started karate.

Your duties will include family laundry, cooking meals for the family, wardrobe management for the children, keeping the home in a tidy and ordered manner so organisation is key, running errands, ensuring the home is tidy and clean (a cleaner is employed once a week so no deep cleaning is required).

They can be flexible with the hours but the ideal would be Monday-Thursday 8.30am-1pm but it could be a mix of mornings and afternoons too for the right person or fewer days. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a private home and have an eye for detail, a quiet presence, be proactive and bring calm and warmth to the home.
