September 4, 2026 | Comments Off on Part Time, Live Out, Nanny, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
Are you a Greek-speaking nanny looking for your next position?
A wonderful part-time, live-out nanny opportunity is available with a friendly and professional family based in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.
The role involves caring for twin girls, who will be at least one year old when the position commences. The family also has a cat and a small Cavapoo, so being comfortable and confident around pets is essential.
Mum is Greek and Dad is British, and the girls are being raised bilingually. The family is therefore looking for a Greek-speaking nanny who can consistently communicate with the girls in Greek throughout the working day, supporting their continued exposure to and development of the language.
The position is for 20 hours per week, with the specific days and hours open to discussion to suit both the family and the successful candidate. Any additional or ad hoc hours will be agreed mutually in advance and paid as overtime.
Although both parents work from home for part of the week, the nanny will have primary responsibility for the girls during the agreed working hours.
The parents are looking for someone who will build a warm, secure and trusting relationship with both girls, taking the time to understand and respond to each child as an individual.
The family follows a gentle, respectful and emotionally responsive approach to parenting and would like to find a nanny who is calm, affectionate and nurturing. Someone who is confident in offering reassurance, validation and comfort when the children are upset will be particularly well suited to the family.
The girls’ days should include plenty of relaxed, child-led and independent play, alongside activities such as:
• Reading and storytelling
• Singing and music
• Imaginative play
• Age-appropriate developmental activities
• Outdoor play in the garden
• Local walks and exploration
As the girls grow, local groups and activities — such as library story time and twins’ groups — can be introduced gradually, with all activities discussed and agreed with the parents in advance.
Strong baby and toddler experience is essential. Previous experience caring for twins, or two similarly aged young children, would be highly desirable.
The girls’ safety, wellbeing and development will always be the nanny’s primary responsibility.
When practical, the role will also include nursery-related and agreed household duties, including:
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the girls
• Regular batch cooking
• Occasional simple family meal preparation
• Managing the children’s laundry
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas organised
• Emptying the dishwasher
• Occasional errands
The family employs a regular cleaner, so there is no requirement for heavy cleaning or general housekeeping.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed.
This is a lovely opportunity for a warm, experienced and nurturing nanny to become an important part of a family while supporting the girls’ bilingual development from an early age.
If this role sounds like something you would enjoy, and you would like to work alongside this warm and friendly family, please apply below.

September 2, 2026 | Comments Off on Junior Nanny Housekeeper near Glastonbury
This family are looking for a calm, capable and trustworthy person to become part of a busy but relaxed family home supporting three children, including a baby. The children are aged 9 and 7 years and 18 months.
This is a varied role blending childcare and household support. During the day, the successful candidate will focus primarily on caring for the family’s 18-month-old, planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging development through play, spending plenty of time outdoors and supporting a nurturing environment. After school, the role becomes more flexible, providing support wherever it is most needed. This may involve taking one or both of the older children to clubs and activities, helping with homework or the evening routine, or remaining at home with the toddler while the parents take the older children. The family are looking for someone who is happy to adapt to the needs of each day and enjoys being part of a collaborative family team.
Other duties include preparing children’s meals, children’s laundry, keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and organised, and carrying out light child-related household duties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to use their own initiative and happy to help keep the family home running smoothly.
The family are very home-based and enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring the surrounding countryside, baking, gardening and creative play. There will also be occasional babysitting and the opportunity to accompany the family on UK and overseas trips.
A muck in attitude is essential and when one of the parents are away working it can be a full-on role but there will also be times when slightly less hours are required. The atmosphere in the house is informal and down-to-earth rather than highly structured. They are looking for someone who can bring steadiness, warmth and common sense to the rhythm of everyday life. Both parents work from home in the garden studio so you will need to be comfortable with parents being around.
This will suit someone looking for a long-term position, in the countryside, within a warm family environment, with flexibility, variety and room to grow with the role over time.
This is a permanent position.
