A fabulous Family PA role has become available for an experienced person to help look after a friendly family of five: Mum, Dad and three happy and active girls aged 11, 9 and 5. The family lives in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. They are looking for a proactive and friendly person, who will help keep them organised and on top of daily life.

You will be required to work for 20 hours each week. Monday-Friday, four hours each day would work well. Exact hours can be mutually agreed.

• Family laundry
• Keeping the house running smoothly between cleans
• Keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised
• Making sure lunchboxes, uniforms, sports kits, etc are ready for the following day
• Overseeing grocery shopping (planning meals, placing orders, unloading food, buying extras)
• Running errands (extra food shopping, dry cleaning, post office, etc)
• Managing school admin, researching activities, etc

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and a competent cook, as well as a strong communicator so that everyone knows what’s going on. Although not essential, if you do drive, you should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.

The family is looking for an energetic and self-motivated person, with lots of common sense – someone who is adaptable and happy to muck in. The candidate will be warm, honest and fun – a pleasant person to have around this friendly family home.

Full Time, Live Out, Nanny, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

August 18, 2026 | Comments Off on Full Time, Live Out, Nanny, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced, warm and proactive live-out Nanny/Housekeeper to join a professional and welcoming family of four in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

The hours of the role are Monday-Friday, 08.00-18.30. There may also be occasional additional hours and babysitting by mutual agreement, which will be paid separately.

The family are looking for someone who will become a valued and trusted part of their household, working alongside two Dads, caring for their happy and active children — a little boy aged 3½ and his seven-month-old baby sister.

The eldest attends nursery four days a week, with the baby due to begin nursery for a few days each week in summer next year.

The family would love to find a candidate who takes a genuine interest in the children’s development and enjoys creating a happy, stimulating and nurturing environment for them. They are keen for the children to experience a lovely balance of educational and creative activities at home, alongside plenty of fresh air, outdoor play and opportunities to socialise.

Days might include reading, singing, crafts, jigsaws, imaginative play and age-appropriate learning, as well as trips to the park, local playgroups, music classes, library story time and playdates. Above all, the nanny will ensure the children are happy, engaged and safe at all times.

Alongside the childcare, the successful candidate will be happy to take responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of the children’s areas and help the household run smoothly. Duties will include:

• Managing the family laundry and ironing, including bedding
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings tidy and well organised
• Preparing school and nursery uniforms, sports kits and everything needed for the following day
• Grocery shopping for the family
• Preparing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, including batch cooking
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen organised
• Maintaining the family living areas used throughout the day, including running the vacuum around and dusting as needed
• Keeping on top of the children’s belongings and ensuring everything is prepared and organised
• Anticipating the family’s needs and staying one step ahead to help family life run smoothly

A weekly cleaner is employed, so no deep cleaning is required. However, the family would really value someone who naturally takes pride in their surroundings and leaves the home tidy, calm and organised at the end of each day.

For nursery runs and activities, the successful candidate will be a confident and careful driver, with a clean driving licence and their own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed.

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper who is looking for a long-term role with a warm, professional family and who takes pride in providing excellent childcare while helping to create a well-run and happy home.

Nanny/Mother’s Help required near Cheltenham

August 13, 2026 | Comments Off on Nanny/Mother’s Help required near Cheltenham

This family of four are looking for a Nanny/Mother’s help in the care of their two children aged 2 years and a baby, born in July.

The position will primarily be to look after the 2 year old, engage in play with her at home, provide meals for her or to go with Mum and the children to local groups and activities. Mum is looking for someone who is comfortable working alongside her most of the time, who is happy to muck in to keep on top of the organisation of the home and help with the baby when needed so some experience with young babies is essential.

The 2 year old is a chatty and busy girl who loves spending time outdoors in their large garden, where there is a tennis court and a stream. She enjoys playing football, going on her bike and playing in the paddling pool. The family also have two friendly dogs so you will need to be comfortable around dogs. The ideal candidate will be easy going, tidy and organised and passionate about engaging with the children. The most important thing for Mum is that the children are happy and in a good routine.
