Nanny position, 3 days per week in Basingstoke, RG25
A relaxed family in Basingstoke are looking for someone to help care for their 1 year old boy and 2.5 year old girl. Care will be required on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 8.15am to 6pm. Availability to provide ad hoc additional care on Mondays and Fridays from 4.30pm (picking up both children from nursery) to 6pm will be a bonus, but not essential.
Mum will be returning to work in January 2027. When she returns to work, she will be working from home as well as some days in London. Some overnight care may be required on an ad hoc basis.
The family are looking for someone with a clean driving licence (nanny car provided) to assist with pick up / drop off of their daughter at nursery, and will have care of their son during the daytime.
They are looking for someone relaxed, creative, outdoorsy and friendly. Their 2.5 year old loves music and enjoys lots of singing of nursery rhymes, drawing, baking and going for walks and the 1 year old loves playing, songs and being outside. The family are very comfortable with the nanny taking the youngest to groups/classes, organising days out etc once they have settled in. They are happy for their little one to be out exploring, getting messy/muddy and enjoying their large garden and local countryside. They also have access to a swimming pool and tennis court at the grandparents’ home less than 5 minutes away. The family have a miniature dachshund, and the role will involve walking the dog (30 minutes) and feeding the dog.
This position is nursery duties only, including cooking, no housekeeping is required other than ensuring the home is kept tidy after meals/activities.

Pay: Up to 18 gross per hour dependant on experience and qualification level. Up to £2,281.50 gross per month, £27,378 gross per annum.
