Live in or Live out | Housekeeper/Nanny – Kensington, London

March 11, 2026 | Comments Off on Live in or Live out | Housekeeper/Nanny – Kensington, London

A welcoming family are looking for a reliable and proactive Housekeeper/Nanny to support their home five days a week, Monday to Friday. The working hours will be either 8am–6pm or 9am–7pm, depending on what suits the right candidate best. This is a lovely opportunity to join a welcoming household where kindness, organisation and a positive attitude are valued.

The role will be primarily focused on housekeeping and maintaining the smooth running of the home. Responsibilities will include all general cleaning, laundry, washing and ironing, cleaning bathrooms, organising cupboards and wardrobes, and ensuring the house remains tidy, calm and well organised on a day-to-day basis. The family would also love someone who enjoys cooking and is happy to prepare simple, healthy meals for the household.

The family have a 10-month-old child, and there will occasionally be times when you are asked to step in and provide childcare if mum is busy. When this happens, your sole focus will be on caring for the child, and you will not be expected to manage housekeeping duties at the same time. Mum is mostly with the baby, but they would like someone who has good experience with young children and who is happy to engage in play, take the child out for walks or local classes during the day, and support their development through interaction and activities. Preparing meals for the child will also be part of the role when needed.

The family are also open to this becoming a live-in position from July when they move into their new home, although this is not essential. They are hoping to find someone warm, trustworthy and organised who enjoys being part of a family environment and takes pride in creating a clean, well-run and happy home.
