A wonderful family who have recently relocated to their new home in the Herefordshire
countryside are seeking a dynamic, professional Housekeeper to take full responsibility
for the smooth running of their large family home. This is a long-term role suited to
someone who takes pride in high standards and enjoys genuine autonomy.
Duties will include daily cleaning to an exceptional standard, full laundry care, ironing,
bed changing, wardrobe management, and the ongoing organisation of household
spaces. The family have children, so a warm, friendly, and approachable nature is
essential.
The family would love the Housekeeper to become a valued presence in their home,
with occasional babysitting when the nanny is unavailable. This is not a childcare role,
but flexibility and a supportive mindset are key. The family enjoy hosting friends and
family at their home on occasion. These adhoc occasions would be paid in addition to
the advertised salary.
The property is a beautiful three-storey, nine-bedroom country home set within acres of
land, including ponds, walled gardens, and a swimming pool. The Housekeeper will
have full autonomy over a brand new, well-organised laundry room, with linen
cupboards on each floor to ensure efficiency. A cleaner supports the housekeeper one
day per week.
This role is Live in or Live out.
Location of the job: Near Leominster, Herefordshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience in private households and working
with children
Hours of work: 40hours a week (additional adhoc hours available and paid in addition).
Days required: between Monday-Friday
Driving required: Yes, own car essential
Live in Accommodation: spacious 3 bedroom detached flat with own entrance, kitchen,
living room and bathroom across the garden from the family home, Separate drive way
and car parking space.
Job Start Date: July 2026
Pay: £27,000 gross per annum
