Hybrid Family Support Role in Crick, Northampton
A welcoming family living in the beautiful countryside near Crick, Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced, Nanny/Housekeeper to work with them as a Family Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive family environment with two young children, currently aged 2 years and 4 months and would suit a candidate looking to build a long-term partnership. Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is essential.
The role is not a traditional Nanny position but will offer a blend of Nanny and Housekeeping responsibilities mainly in a shared care capacity, but confidence to take sole-charge to enable mum to get out of the house when needed is important. The family are looking for someone who can genuinely become an extra pair of hands within the home and help keep the household running smoothly.
Mum is currently at home and wants to play a big part in her children’s care. Dad works from home around twice a week. As the parents will be around the ideal candidate will be a confident team player, who communicates well, reads the room, and has a genuine team-player attitude. Someone who can confidently adapt to the family’s routines would be a good fit.
The family’s toddler loves spending time outdoors, so the family would love a nanny who enjoys spending time outside. The family have a dog (who has a dog walker) and two cats, so a lover of animals is needed. The family would appreciate a candidate who can use their initiative to assist in the care of the animals occasionally. This will be a long-term position for the right candidate.

September 18, 2026 | Comments Off on Wonderful morning role in Weybridge, Surrey
A lovely, warm and friendly family based in Weybridge, Surrey, are looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to join their family from Monday to Friday, for 5 hours per day, ideally 8am–1pm.
The family currently have one little boy, aged 4, and are expecting a new baby towards the end of October/early November.
This is a lovely, varied role that will initially be a mixture of childcare and light housekeeping. The family already employ a cleaner, so the housekeeping element is very much about being an extra pair of hands around the home and helping to keep things running smoothly. As the baby gets older, the role will naturally become more child-focused.
They are looking for someone who is kind, warm, loving and proactive, with a genuine enjoyment of family life and a willingness to muck in wherever needed. Someone who uses their initiative, is organised and enjoys creating a happy, nurturing environment for children would be a great fit.
The family would love to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of the family and is happy to be flexible and helpful as their needs evolve.
German or Portuguese speaking would be a lovely bonus, but is by no means essential.
If you are a caring, hands-on nanny who enjoys a varied role and would love to become part of a warm family, they would love to hear from you.

September 17, 2026 | Comments Off on Wonderful 4 day nanny role in Shillinglee, Surrey
Are you a fun, energetic and outdoorsy nanny who loves the magic of countryside living and believes the best childhood memories are made outside?
A warm and friendly family living on a beautiful private estate on the outskirts of Haslemere, Surrey, are looking for a wonderful, qualified nanny to join their family and care for their three gorgeous boys, aged 3.5 years, 2 years and 14 weeks.
This is a truly special opportunity for someone who loves an active, adventurous and child-led approach to childcare. The family are looking for a nanny who will embrace their incredible surroundings and make the most of every day, whether that means exploring the countryside, discovering nature, jumping in muddy puddles, enjoying outdoor adventures or getting stuck into imaginative play at home.
The role is Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 6pm, and will involve caring for the three boys, creating fun and stimulating activities, encouraging learning through play, getting out and about in the fresh air and taking care of all nursery duties, including nursery runs. You will also be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for the children and supporting them as they grow, develop and explore the world around them. At present, the mother is mainly caring for the baby, so the role is currently mostly geared toward the older two, although this will naturally evolve over time.
Due to the rural location, a driver is essential. The family would ideally love someone who is happy to use their own car. The family are happy to consider both live-in and live-out candidates, with a preference for someone who would be happy to live in during the week and return home at weekends. For a live-in nanny, they can offer a lovely self-contained annex away from the main house, giving you your own private space to relax and unwind.
This role would suit someone caring, reliable and calm who can become part of the household, and who has a genuine interest in devising activities to help the children hit their milestones, whether it’s teaching the three year old their ABCs or helping the two year old to confidently kick a ball. Someone who is just as happy heading off on a countryside adventure as they are getting stuck into messy play, stories and games at home.
If you are looking for a long-term position where you can become a valued part of a lovely family, enjoy a beautiful countryside setting and make every day an adventure, this is a truly wonderful opportunity.

September 17, 2026 | Comments Off on Super flexible nanny needed in Oxshott, Surrey
A lovely mum based in Oxshott, Surrey, is looking for a warm, flexible and proactive nanny to care for her 12-year-old daughter.
She attends school full time and is very self-sufficient, so this is a lovely role for someone who enjoys a varied position and becoming a valued part of family life. The role will involve school runs, taking her to various clubs and activities, preparing meals and carrying out nursery duties, although there is no heavy childcare required.
She absolutely loves dance, so someone who shares her passion or simply enjoys dance would be a real bonus. Experience with older children or teenagers would also be highly desirable.
The role is extremely flexible, with no set hours or fixed days, and can be adapted and negotiated around the right person. Weekend cover will occasionally be required when mum is working or away, so flexibility is key.
The family already has a cleaner, although there would be the opportunity for someone who enjoys housekeeping to take on some additional hours if desired.
The family have two small dogs and a cat, so a genuine love of animals would also be a lovely advantage.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a genuinely flexible position with a lovely family. The role can be tailored and negotiated for the right person, making it an ideal opportunity for a nanny looking for something a little different.
