Part Time, Live Out, Nanny, Brickendon, Hertfordshire

August 28, 2026 | Comments Off on Part Time, Live Out, Nanny, Brickendon, Hertfordshire

A wonderful two or three day, live out nanny role has become available, working with a friendly and professional family who live on a farm in Brickendon, Hertfordshire. You should enjoy country life and animals, as part of the family is also a well behaved black labrador dog.

Starting in April 2027, you will be taking care of a baby who will be three months old, while his Mum transitions back to work after maternity leave. The role will be a mix of sole charge and shared care.

The hours will be 07.00-19.00 on either three days (Tues, Weds and Thurs) or two days (Tues and Thurs). Any additional or ad hoc hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for the baby to learn and develop in a balanced way, helping to reach developmental milestones through lots of stimulating and educational indoor activities, such as reading stories, playing games, singing, completing jigsaws, and imaginative play, mixed with plenty of outdoor play in the garden and walks to the park. As the baby grows, the parents would be happy for you to attend local groups and activities (such as story-time at the library, music class, etc) to allow socialisation with other children, while always ensuring happiness and safety.

Although general care of the baby is the main priority, this role is to include nursery duties too. These duties will include keeping on top of the baby’s laundry, keeping the baby’s areas tidy and organised and making sure they have everything they need for the days ahead.

You should be confident with the weaning process and will provide healthy and nutritious meals (home cooked as often as possible), including batch cooking, so that there is food available for the parents to use for the baby at the weekends. Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day, running the occasional errand, etc. The family also employs a regular cleaner.

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is a car available to use on duty.

If this role sounds like something you would enjoy, and you would like to work alongside this warm and friendly family, please apply below.

3-4 day SEN support/Tutor required in Clifton, Bristol

August 25, 2026 | Comments Off on 3-4 day SEN support/Tutor required in Clifton, Bristol

An engaging and proactive SEN support/Tutor is required for a family of four in Clifton, Bristol.

The family are returning clients to us at Harmony at Home and are a welcoming and busy household, requiring some support. They require someone to help them co-ordinate the home schooling of their 12 year old son. He will have Tutors to carry out the home schooling on a daily basis but you will be required to engage with him in between these sessions and to support him in his learning, socially and academically. They hope to give him a mix of home-based tutoring sessions and activities out of the house, so would require someone who can drive. He is autistic and has ADHD but is a fun and engaging boy who loves to be active playing ball games, gymnastics and trampolining. He is artistic and creative so someone that can support these interests is essential. They also have a chilled 9 year old boy who loves socialising with his friends, enjoys all sports and is fun to be around but your primary job is to support the 12 year old boy.

Your duties will be supporting his online lessons, keeping tabs on when tests are and helping him continue to develop his study and personal organisation skills. They have a few face-to-face tutors coming in and out for specific subjects, so it might be filling in if one of them can’t make it, so someone with secondary teaching would be beneficial and being up for taking him swimming / running / something active when there are gaps in the day or facilitating a bit of socialising for him.  This is a great role for an active person with a keen interest in education – without the constraints and challenges of the school environment!

There is the option of more hours if you are up for helping with after school club logistics, school pick ups, children’s meals (family meals would be great) and helping keep on top of the organisation and tidiness of the home. They also employ a cleaner so there is no deep cleaning required but you will need to be happy to hoover and clean when necessary as well as keep on top of the laundry. Organisation, flexibility and a good energy are key to this role.

Housekeeper, Falmouth, Cornwall

A lovely, retired couple based in rural Falmouth are looking to appoint a self-employed daily housekeeper to support the smooth running of their large home. Their impressive property includes a 7-bedroom Cornish house, a 2-bedroom coach house annexe, and 1/2 an acre of garden (gardener employed). There are no children or pets in residence, and this is a non-smoking home.

Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is likely essential, and mileage will be paid on duty. The couple are offering £20+ gross per hour, depending on experience.

Duties will include cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, and general household administration such as booking appointments, managing online shopping and orders, and arranging tradespeople for maintenance as needed. Errands such as dry-cleaning drop-off and collection will also form part of the role.

The couple enjoy reading, sailing, gardening, art and architecture, and music, and are looking for someone who is highly trustworthy, discreet and dependable, with excellent attention to detail.
