Temporary 1 day a week nanny for baby boy in Dorrington, Shropshire

A lovely family based in Shropshire are seeking a warm, nurturing and experienced Temporary Nanny to provide dedicated one-to-one care for their baby boy until mid-January 2027.
The successful nanny will take responsibility for his day-to-day care, wellbeing and development, creating a calm, stimulating and nurturing environment in which he can thrive. You will plan and provide age- and stage-appropriate activities, encouraging his curiosity and development through play, interaction and exploration.
The family are keen to begin establishing a gentle, consistent routine and would welcome a nanny who can work collaboratively with the parents to develop this. Encouraging independent play on his floor mat, tummy time and exploration will be an important part of the role.
When the baby is sleeping, the nanny will only be expected to undertake child-related duties, such as tidying his play areas, his bedroom and keeping his belongings organised.
The family have an organic, non-UPF, non-toxic and low-technology approach to family life, and are looking for someone who is comfortable working within these principles.

Location of the job: Dorrington, Shropshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5 years working as a nanny
Hours of work: Ideally 8am – 2pm (some flexibility)
Days required: Ideally Fridays (but flexible for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Job Start Date: ASAP
Job End Date: 14th January 2027
Pay: £20 gross per hour
