The family are looking for a nanny who is engaging, nurturing and who acknowledges the children’s feelings and wishes but can also maintain firm and consistent boundaries. The family are looking for an experienced, flexible and proactive housekeeper to help maintain and run their holiday home. The house is used by their family during the school holidays and occasional weekends and, at other times, rented to guests as a holiday rental. The role varies depending on whether they are staying at the house, whether guests are renting it, or whether the house is empty.
When they are in residence, the candidate work as their housekeeper, an excellent cleaner and organiser who will help with the smooth running of the household. Looking for someone warm and comfortable around our young children and happy to help with tasks such as preparing their breakfast.
When the property is let to guests through a luxury holiday rental agency, the candidate will be responsible for the property’s presentation — fully cleaning and preparing the house for arrivals, keeping it clean during stays, and carrying out a post-stay deep clean. The bookings are handled by an agency.. During rental periods laundry is outsourced. Additional cleaning help can be provided if required.
Flexibility is essential as rental bookings can change at short notice.
Pay is guaranteed at the equivalent of 25 hours per week. some weeks may require more hours, some may need less hours, but the pay will be the same each month. as flexibility is key the candidate may have to do weekends too.
Responsibilities — when the family is in residence includes but is not limited to Daily cleaning and tidying of the house to a high standard. Laundry, washing and ironing, making and changing beds. Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas clean and organised. As well as helping with children’s breakfast and meal preparation.
There will be the requirement to do general household support to keep the house running smoothly, including lighting fires and making coffees and helping out at family events, and assisting with organising contractors when required.

A busy professional family need a super, reliable and fun hands on Nanny/PA/Housekeeper to come and be part of this amazing family.

A warm and welcoming family based in Bow, East London, are looking for a lovely nanny housekeeper to care for their two boys, aged 2 and 5, with an ASAP start. The family ideally require someone for three days per week, between Monday to Thursday, although they could offer four days for the right candidate. The family are very flexible and could offer hours of 1pm–7pm, but are happy to discuss alternative arrangements for the right person, for instance if the nanny wanted some more hours then extra cleaning could be offered. Before the boys are collected, the role will focus on housekeeping duties, including family cooking, laundry, changing bed linen, occasional grocery shopping and other household errands. The family are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys keeping a home tidy, organised and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be happy to muck in wherever needed, take pride in their work and use their initiative to identify what needs doing without always being asked.
In the afternoons, the role will involve collecting the 5-year-old from school, which is conveniently located around the corner from the family home, and the 2-year-old from nursery, which is approximately a 20-minute walk or bus ride away. Once home, the nanny will spend quality time with the boys through play, reading, helping with homework, preparing snacks and supporting their afternoon routines. Occasional help with bath time and getting the boys ready for bed may also be required.
The family are looking for someone who genuinely loves children and is proactive, flexible and adaptable, with a warm and nurturing approach. A positive attitude, a willingness to get involved and the ability to balance childcare with housekeeping responsibilities are essential. A love of cooking is also important, as the family would like someone who can prepare nutritious meals for everyone to enjoy.
A Dutch or Spanish speaker would be a wonderful bonus, although this is by no means essential. The family have two cats, so the successful candidate must be comfortable around animals. There is no driving or travel required for this position.

A warm and welcoming family of six are seeking an experienced live-out Housekeeper to join them on a long-term basis. This will be for around 4 hours per day, 3 days per week – the exact days and hours are flexible. The family are looking to hire on a self-employed basis only.
The family already employs a cleaner once a week, so the majority of the deep cleaning is covered. The Housekeeper’s focus will be on laundry, general tidying, household organisation and ensuring the family home runs smoothly, with some light cleaning between the cleaner’s visits. The family are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is comfortable working independently. Discretion, reliability and a willingness to go the extra mile will be appreciated. The family have a puppy who already has a dog walker, so there is minimal dog-walking required, although some light pet-related duties may occasionally be needed.
The family would ideally like the Housekeeper to prepare two family dinners per week. Meals can either be prepared in the family home or at the Housekeeper’s own home, depending on preference. The family eat relatively little meat, so the ability to prepare fresh, family-friendly meals around some simple dietary preferences would be appreciated.
With four children, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the family’s laundry and clothing, ensuring everything is washed, folded and returned to the correct places. They will be proactive, naturally notice what needs doing and be happy to take care of tasks without always being asked. As the family live in a rural location, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential. A confident driver would be welcomed, as there may be occasional requirements in the future to help with transporting the children to extracurricular activities.
The ideal candidate will have previous private-household experience and understand the discretion, organisation and high standards expected in a family home. They will be proactive, reliable and confident managing their own workload, with a genuine eye for detail.
