Four Day, Live In or Live Out, Nanny/Housekeeper, Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire

June 8, 2026 | Comments Off on Four Day, Live In or Live Out, Nanny/Housekeeper, Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire

A wonderful four-day live out nanny/housekeeper position has become available in Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire.

This role could also work as a live in position. There is a separate self-contained annexe if required. The salary would be adjusted for this option.

You will be caring for two happy and active boys, aged eight and six. They are looking for a kind and fun nanny/housekeeper, who can become part of their family and support the children through primary school.

Although the parents occasionally work from home, this is a sole charge position.

The children attend school locally each day. Although the family employ a weekly cleaner, they are looking for someone who can help support the running of a busy household.

The hours will be Monday and Wednesday, 07.30-18.30 and Tuesday and Thursday, 07.30-20.00 (47 hours/week). Any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (fun games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, Lego, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, trips to the farm in the school holidays, etc. The children enjoy after school clubs and sports, which the nanny would take them to and support them in their learning.

While the children are at school, you will have time to keep the family organised. Initially there will be some organising of cupboards, wardrobes, etc. You will prepare and cook healthy and nutritious family meals each day, involving the children when possible. Batch cooking would be advantageous.

The family has a weekly cleaner, but any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – keeping on top of the family laundry (including towels and changing the beds) keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, making sure the children have everything they need for the next day (packed lunch, sports kit, etc), running the occasional errand, etc. You will also oversee any homework.

The family also has two friendly dogs who would appreciate a walk each day, so a pet lover is essential.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is fully insured car to use on duty.

If this fabulous role sounds like something you would enjoy, please apply below.

Four day nanny housekeeper needed in Havant, PO9

This family are looking for a well experienced and qualified nanny housekeeper to become a valuable part of the family in this long term position. Care will be required for their new baby boy, who is currently 4 months old. They also have a 13 year old, however care will be focused on the baby.
The core days required are Wednesday and Thursday 11am to 5/6pm, when Mum will be working, and the nanny will be sole charge of the baby.
Ideally they would have someone working 4 days per week with them (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) from 11am to 5/6pm. With the Monday and Friday being focused more on housekeeping, with some care of the baby, as Mum will not be working on these days.

The family are flexible, as they really want to find the right person to care for their baby. Therefore if the core childcare days on Weds and Thurs are only desired, they will consider this. They may also be able to consider live in candidates, as they do have a bedroom with private bathroom for a nanny should they wish to live in.

Duties on the Wednesday and Thursday will include sole charge care of the baby, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment and planning age-appropriate activities to support sensory development and early milestones. Preparing and sterilising bottles, feeding baby, supporting naps and maintaining sleep routines and changing nappies. Taking the baby on walks and to age appropriate baby classes.

Duties on the Monday and Friday will be a real mix of responsibilities. The family have cleaners to do the heavy cleaning, however the nanny housekeeper will be responsible for all light cleaning to keep on top of the home. They will also be responsible for all family laundry, ironing, folding, putting clothes away etc. As well as light housekeeping duties such as emptying and reloading the dishwasher, restocking and organising of cupboards/food items, food shop, running errands, family PA duties, hoovering, wiping down surfaces and keeping the home clean. Mum is likely to pop to the gym, or go out to run her own errands, so the nanny housekeeper will then focus on the baby during this time. When the nanny housekeeper is in charge of the baby, his care is always the priority. Therefore if Mum has been out for a long period on a ‘housekeeping day’ she of course understands that less household duties will have been completed.

The ideal candidate will be well experienced with babies, and as a nanny housekeeper. They would like someone who is confident in the role, very reliable, trustworthy and caring. They really want someone to work for them long term, and will highly value someone as an integral part of their family team.

The family can provide a nanny car whilst on duty, however occasional use of the nanny’s own car would be a real bonus. The ideal candidate would also have some flexibility on the odd Saturday (not a regular requirement) or for ad hoc babysitting, which will be paid in addition to their usual salary. It would be lovely if the nanny wished to join them on the occasional family holiday, though this is not a deal breaker.

Please apply asap for this lovely position!

We are recruiting for a family in Cheltenham from May 25th-12th June.

The family are looking for a safe pair of hands that can help them whilst they are in Cheltenham. They mostly live in Hong Kong but stay at their home in Cheltenham 3 times a year. She has a good routine with her nap and feed times and they would like these to be adhered to.

They will be travelling to Italy during their stay for a week and would like the Nanny to ideally travel with them.
