You will be joining a really lovely family who have recently relocated from California. They have two happy children – 4 and 7 -who will be attending full time nursery/school and so the role will be a combination of housekeeping and nannying during the term and then will be predominantly nannying during the school holidays (private).

Your main duties during the term will include laundry, tidying and organising and cooking for the children. Changing the beds and clearing up off the dishes etc and generally keeping check on stock levels and things the children might need. Additionally, you will feel comfortable helping with homework and reading. During the school holidays, you would plan age-appropriate activities and day trips for the children. There is a swimming pool at the home so you would also be happy to go swimming!

The hours are ideally from 11am – 7/730pm though a later stay on one evening a week for babysitting would be ideal. Shorter days can also be offered if preferred though the hours of 4-7pm ideally would be covered.

The family are casual and informal and are very used to having help in the home. They do work from home full time so the nanny must be comfortable with this. They are also dog lovers and own 4 so you must feel happy with this – though no particular dog care is required as part of the role.

If living in, a beautiful separate studio can be offered. It is completely self contained with it’s own entrance which is above one of the garages and away from the family home. There is a kitchen, living area, dining area and double bed. This can be used all year round for personal use.

Full time Nanny for family of 6, in Bath

July 17, 2026 | Comments Off on Full time Nanny for family of 6, in Bath

A busy family of 6 are looking for a live in Nanny in Bath.

This is a super position, childcare duties only. You will predominantly be looking after twins of 2 years and helping with school runs of the two older children, aged 9 and 7. Taking the twins to local groups, they enjoy gymnastics and messy play, preparing healthy nutritious meals for all the children, keeping on top of children’s laundry, tidying children’s bedrooms and play areas. During the school holidays the older two will attend some holiday clubs or go on play dates so balancing the needs of all the children is key but there will not be many times that you have sole charge of all four.

The ideal candidate will be patient, active, fun, nurturing and have good communication. A qualification in child care is not essential as the most important thing is to have age-appropriate experience and have worked with multiple children before as a Nanny.

The family live near to Bath University, with a large garden. The house backs onto The Skyline Walk so there are good walks right on the doorstep but there is also good public transport however a driver is required for the school runs. Your accommodation is an annexe with separate entrance to the house with a large bedroom/living space, bathroom and kitchen. They will also consider live out if you are local.

This is a permanent position.
Location: Bath
Minimum experience required: 4 years in childcare, ideally as a nanny

This busy, working, creative family are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and experienced housekeeper/house manager to help keep their home calm, clean, and organised.

The large family home is just outside the beautiful city of Wells in a village, set in a picturesque, 3 acre, setting in the lovely Somerset countryside. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a large family home and be proactive, organised and with a muck in attitude. Tidying, organising and decluttering to support family life, grocery shopping and putting away online food shop deliveries, some occasional family errands such as Post Office, Dry Cleaning, Charity shop drops etc. Along with assistance with organising trades people e.g. boiler servicing, window cleaning, gardeners etc.
