We have a lovely opportunity for an experienced maternity practitioner to support first-time parents during a wedding.
The family would like to bring their four-month-old son to the celebration so he can be included in the special day and family photographs. They are looking for a caring and professional maternity practitioner to provide attentive care throughout the event, ensuring he has plenty of opportunities to relax, settle, and maintain his usual routine away from the festivities when needed.

Part time Permanent Maternity Nanny for twins needed in West Sussex, starting ASAP

June 20, 2026 | Comments Off on Part time Permanent Maternity Nanny for twins needed in West Sussex, starting ASAP

This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Practitioner with a childcare background and proven twin experience to support a family who have recently welcomed twin boys on a permanent basis. The twins are now 6 weeks old, thriving, and settling well into a routine.
The family is seeking afternoon support, as this is the time of day when Mum would most value an extra pair of hands. There is also a 21-month-old daughter in the home; however, she is not the nanny’s responsibility. The twins are doing very well and are currently bottle-fed every 3–4 hours. The family would love to find someone who can provide knowledgeable and proactive support during the afternoons, bringing confidence in newborn care, a strong understanding of developmental milestones, and hands-on experience caring for twins. A candidate who understands the unique dynamics, routines, and practicalities of caring for multiple babies at the same developmental stage will be highly valued.
It is important that the successful candidate is up to date with current NHS guidance, including safe sleep practices, and can offer reassurance, expertise, and nurturing support as the twins continue to grow and develop.
This can be an employed role or self employed role.

Maternity Practitioner needed for weekends from mid July, based in London and Oxfordshire

June 10, 2026 | Comments Off on Maternity Practitioner needed for weekends from mid July, based in London and Oxfordshire

A warm and welcoming family are looking forward to welcoming their third baby in mid-June. Their current maternity practitioner, who has supported them previously, will be assisting for the first four weeks after the birth. The family are now seeking an experienced maternity practitioner to take over from mid-July through to the end of September.
This is a lovely opportunity to support confident parents who value professional guidance and a calm, nurturing approach. They are looking for a knowledgeable, empathetic candidate who can seamlessly step into the role and provide reassurance, practical support, and expert advice during the newborn period. The successful candidate will be up to date with current NHS guidance and confident in helping the family establish healthy routines that work for everyone.
The family’s older children are incredibly excited about the new arrival and are keen to be involved where appropriate, particularly with activities such as bath time. The ideal candidate will be supportive of sibling involvement while ensuring the baby’s needs remain the priority. There is a daily nanny for the older children.
The mother intends to breastfeed initially and anticipates introducing bottle feeding after approximately six weeks. The family would welcome support and guidance throughout this transition and in establishing a gentle routine for their newborn.
During the placement, the family will spend four weeks at their beautiful home in Oxfordshire, and they would love the maternity nurse to accompany them. The property features a swimming pool, and a car will be available for use during time off. All travel expenses will be covered.
This is a fantastic role for an experienced professional seeking a supportive family and a varied, enjoyable placement.
