Maternity Night Nanny needed in October 2026, based in Devon

A lovely opportunity has arisen to support a family who are expecting their second baby around 12th October. The family are seeking a Night Nanny to provide overnight support following the arrival of their newborn.
They are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, confident, and supportive candidate who can offer reassurance and guidance during the early weeks. The ideal Night Nanny will be fully up to date with current NHS guidelines and The Lullaby Trust safe sleep recommendations.
Having welcomed a child previously, the family have experience of the newborn stage and are keen to establish positive sleep habits and a gentle routine from the outset. They would value a candidate who can confidently support them in achieving this while remaining responsive to the baby’s individual needs.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional Night Nanny who enjoys working closely with families and providing expert newborn care and support.

Location: Axminster, Devon
Gross hourly Rate: £25ph gross
Hours of work: 7pm -7am
Nights required: 3 or 4 per week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum), Safeguarding L2.
Driving required: Not within the role
