A temporary holiday nanny works on a short term basis with multiple families, covering multiple childcare such as Emergency Childcare, maternity or holiday leave, parental illness or increased workload or to provide ad hoc childcare cover.
A temporary holiday nanny may work anywhere between 4-12 hours per day for as many days the employer require and some temporary holiday nannies may also be on call 24 hours a day. Duties may include (not limited), washing and ironing children’s clothes, preparing meals, help the child with homework, shopping for the household, driving the children, arranging play-dates, organising a fun and educational activities
