A confident and nurturing Nanny is required for a welcoming family of 3.
The family are returning clients and their last nanny can recommend them. They are keen to find a Nanny who is able to bring their own interests and ideas for supporting their daughter’s development. They like to give the nanny autonomy and to ensure the home is a pleasant and fun environment to be in. You will be responsible for all nursery duties, planning activities and outings for the child. Mum would be delighted to provide the necessary resources- e.g. painting, cooking, educational activities, sporting activities outside and is happy for you to meet up with other nannies and attend local groups to encourage the child’s socialisation. They are looking for someone who can actively educate the child (2 year old)- e.g. numbers, words, stories, nursery rhymes and whatever else is appropriate for her age group.
They live in a lovely 4 bedroom modern home, with a garden and within walking distance of parks and Rodway Common. Mum does work from home so you will need to be comfortable with this, although she works in the study, she will need to work out of the home on occasions. They also have 2 Jack Russells and you will need to be as passionate about dogs as you are about children as they are very much a part of the family and ideally be happy to walk one of the dogs when taking the girl for walks.
This is a fixed term position to start immediately and to last for 5 months but could extend to 6 months dependent on Mum’s work. They are ideally looking for someone self-employed.

Pay: £17 gross per hour
