Full Time Live in or out Nanny Housekeeper role in Milford on Sea, SO41
This is a lovely opportunity for a live in or out nanny housekeeper to care for three children aged 4, 6 and 9 years old, as well as the family home. The family have flexibility and are willing to discuss the best hours that can work for everyone. Ideally, during the term time, the nanny housekeeper will work just over 43 hours per week (Mon: 7-8.30am & 2-7pm, Tues: 6.10am-7pm, Wednesday: 7am-8pm, Thurs: 7-8.30am & 3-7pm, Fri: 7-8.30am & 3-7pm). During the school holidays the nanny will work closer to 62 hours per week (Mon: 7-7pm, Tues: 6.10am-7pm, Wednesday: 7am-8pm, Thurs: 7-7pm, Fri: 7-7pm). There will be an overnight proxy parent required every Tuesday night, throughout the year (this will be required whether someone is live in or out). There may be the option to finish a little earlier on a Friday if the nanny would like to, or if just one full day of housekeeping on Tuesdays during term time was desired (rather than two full days), this could be accommodated.
If live-in, the accommodation comprises of a very large Principal Suite, featuring a private en-suite and walk-in wardrobe. Situated at the far end of the house on a separate floor from the children, the bedroom is generously proportioned, with plenty of room for a comfortable sitting area to relax in privacy.
If the nanny lives out, they will ideally be as local as possible to ensure they can commute comfortably (especially with the 6.10am start on the Tuesday).
The children enjoy tennis, cricket, football, rugby, golf, swimming and sailing. They would love to find an energetic, outdoorsy and creative nanny housekeeper who loves caring for the children as well as the family as a whole.
This position will be a mix of childcare and housekeeping duties. During the term time the nanny housekeeper will drop the children off to school in the mornings, and pick them up at the end of the day/take them to clubs, cook dinner, help with homework and get the children ready for bed. They will not be required to work from 8.30am-2/3pm on a Monday, Thursday and Friday during the term time, with the Tuesday and Wednesday being full days for all cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, ironing, cooking/food prep and running errand duties etc. During the school holidays the nanny housekeepers hours will be 5 full days, with a lot more scope for them to plan fun days out, activities and playdates for the children.
The family need someone who is experienced in this kind of role, and really loves the mix of household and childcare duties. They need a driver (a nanny car can be provided, although the odd flex to use the nanny’s car would be very much appreciated). They would love to find someone who wants to join their family long term.
Please apply asap in order to be considered for this lovely role.

Some overnight care may be required occasionally. They would like to find someone openminded and adventurous like the family.
The eldest is a smart child who enjoys reading and crafts, the 3 year old enjoys sports and Maths, the youngest is a happy and chilled baby and will thrive from some 1:1 engagement. They all like spending time outdoors and swimming. In the school holidays the eldest two will attend tennis and holiday camps in the mornings so you will have sole charge of all 3 in the afternoons.
As a family they like to travel so someone that could be flexible to accompany them would be great and if you speak French or Spanish that would be a bonus as they would like the children to speak another language.

A warm and professional family of four based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an experienced and dependable housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home. A candidate who would like to stay long term would be ideal.
They have two little girls, 3.5 years and 13 months. They both attend nursery for some of the week. They also have two friendly medium-sized dogs who are part of the family, so a dog lover is essential.
Mum has a busy role mainly out of the home, with occasional travel. Dad works from home and cares for the children, so a team player is essential.
They live in a stylish four-bedroom house and have a great attention to detail and a love of interior design.
The hours of the role are Monday-Thursday, 10.30-18.30 (32 hours/week).
The family has a weekly cleaner, for deep cleaning, so the housekeeper’s responsibilities will include:
• General tidying and organising throughout the home, with a daily reset of the kitchen, playroom, bedrooms, etc
• Organisation, management and systems: wardrobes, drawers, pantry and toy management/playroom
• Family laundry (clothes and bedding) and ironing
• Changing beds regularly
• Household admin – online food orders, booking tickets, dry cleaning collection, post office runs, local food shopping (butchers, etc)
• Putting away household shopping
• Sorting bins and recycling
• Keeping household items (e.g. cleaning products etc) and food stocked up
• Preparing and cooking a healthy and nutritious family meal, batch cooking when required
• Preparing packed lunches for the girls to take to nursery
• Preparing for girls for the following day (laying out uniforms, packing school bags, etc)
• Occasional dog walking when required (they have a dog walker)
A duty car is available for running errands.
Although this is mainly a housekeeping role, someone who enjoys being around children and is happy to play the occasional game would be a lovely fit. Additional paid hours for overtime or babysitting may be available by mutual agreement.
The family is looking for someone warm, trustworthy, kind, and attentive to detail. They would love to find a candidate who enjoys being around children, brings a positive and supportive energy to the home, and is able to use their initiative.
