June 8, 2026 | Comments Off on Four Day, Live In or Live Out, Nanny/Housekeeper, Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire
A wonderful four-day live out nanny/housekeeper position has become available in Lillingstone Lovell, Buckinghamshire.
This role could also work as a live in position. There is a separate self-contained annexe if required. The salary would be adjusted for this option.
You will be caring for two happy and active boys, aged eight and six. They are looking for a kind and fun nanny/housekeeper, who can become part of their family and support the children through primary school.
Although the parents occasionally work from home, this is a sole charge position.
The children attend school locally each day. Although the family employ a weekly cleaner, they are looking for someone who can help support the running of a busy household.
The hours will be Monday and Wednesday, 07.30-18.30 and Tuesday and Thursday, 07.30-20.00 (47 hours/week). Any additional hours will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (fun games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, Lego, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, trips to the farm in the school holidays, etc. The children enjoy after school clubs and sports, which the nanny would take them to and support them in their learning.
While the children are at school, you will have time to keep the family organised. Initially there will be some organising of cupboards, wardrobes, etc. You will prepare and cook healthy and nutritious family meals each day, involving the children when possible. Batch cooking would be advantageous.
The family has a weekly cleaner, but any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – keeping on top of the family laundry (including towels and changing the beds) keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, making sure the children have everything they need for the next day (packed lunch, sports kit, etc), running the occasional errand, etc. You will also oversee any homework.
The family also has two friendly dogs who would appreciate a walk each day, so a pet lover is essential.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is fully insured car to use on duty.

May 29, 2026 | Comments Off on Part time Housekeeper near Shepton Mallet
A lovely part time position has become available just outside Shepton Mallet for a part time Housekeeper.
This returning client is offering a varied role for an easy going and organised person. The last Nanny Housekeeper was with them for 5 years and was very happy there. They are now looking for someone who is self motivated and will just pitch in with whatever needs doing. This is mainly light cleaning and tidying, sweeping and vacuuming, laundry (mainly sorting and putting away clean washing) and changing beds, with a little childcare when needed mainly with the youngest (7 years old). Cooking a basic dinner for the kids will be required a couple of evenings a week, especially if mum is out, and if someone likes cooking and is happy to cook family meals occasionally that would be a bonus.
The family has a dog and you may be asked to exercise it on the premises. During summer and autumn there may be small jobs in the garden – ie watering plants and picking fruit and vegetables. There is the potential for more hours if you enjoy gardening as the family grow some of their own food, so if you are prepared to help out and do additional jobs in the greenhouse/veggie patch that would be great.
The position is 12-15 hours a week, ideally afternoons, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But they can be flexible around hours for the right person.
The children are 14, nearly 12 and 7 so some help with school runs and getting the kids to after-school activities may be required. When at home the eldest two are fairly self sufficient but the youngest still needs some care so you will need to have some child care experience.
This is a permanent position.
Location: Shepton Mallet
Minimum experience required: Two years housekeeping and childcare experience
Required training: Paediatric First Aid
Preferred qualifications: Not required

May 28, 2026 | Comments Off on Proactive, full time Nanny/House Manager in Painswick
The family are looking for an experienced and safe pair of hands to help them in the care of their two children aged 3 and 1 year. Both children currently attend nursery 4 days a week however this is likely to decrease to 2 or 3 days once someone has started and got into the routine of the position. Baby experience is essential and someone who is used to managing a busy home is key. Both parents work full time and travel with work so a Nanny with sole charge and proxy parenting experience is a must.
Key responsibilities include childcare, providing fun and stimulating activities, meal planning and cooking, light household management, family laundry, keeping on top of the home being tidy, clean and organised, running errands, grocery shopping and making appointments for the children. They would love to find a Nanny that is proactive in socialising the children, taking to local groups and activities and getting out to the parks. They are looking for someone warm, proactive, and flexible, ideally with experience in Montessori or gentle/respectful parenting. The role may evolve as they settle into the area, so they would love someone who is adaptable and thoughtful in their approach.
The family value their time together and enjoy exploring the local culture, nature, going for walks, travel and food. They like to keep a calm, organised and connected home so would love someone who has a passion for this too. They have recently moved to a modern, 4 bedroom home, with a large garden. They can offer live in as well (Monday-Friday) with own bedroom and bathroom within the family home, with its own entrance to the garden. The role will involve approx. 50 hours per week, with some overnight stays when both parents travel for work.
