A warm and welcoming family based in Clerkenwell, London are seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to care for their baby, who will be 5 months old at the start of the role.
This is a live-out position beginning on 10th August, working a total of 42 hours per week across Wednesday and Thursday (12 hours per day), Friday (10 hours), and Saturday (8 hours). However, the family are able to offer more hours (up to 50) if the nanny so wishes.
The family are looking for someone with strong baby experience, with childcare qualifications preferred. They are keen to find a nanny who is loving, caring, and who brings a positive energy into the home. Somebody reliable, resilient, and a nanny who can be somewhat flexible with the schedule would be highly desired, as well as being able to really collaborate and communicate with the parents well, in order to become a trusted and valued part of their family.
The role will involve sole charge care of the baby, supporting developmental milestones including weaning, and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities both at home and out and about. The nanny will take the baby to local classes and groups and make the most of the vibrant local area. Nursery duties related to the baby are required, including preparing meals, managing the baby’s laundry, and keeping the baby’s spaces organised and tidy.
The family has a cat, so the nanny must be comfortable around pets. No driving is required for this role. There may be occasional travel with the family.
The position offers a salary of £25 gross per hour, which equates to approximately £54,600 gross per annum.
