3 day SEN support/Tutor required in Clifton, Bristol

July 13, 2026 | Comments Off on 3 day SEN support/Tutor required in Clifton, Bristol

An engaging and proactive SEN support/Tutor is required for a family of four in Clifton, Bristol.

The family are returning clients to us at Harmony at Home and are a welcoming and busy household, requiring some support. They require someone to help them co-ordinate the home schooling of their 12 year old son. He will have Tutors to carry out the home schooling on a daily basis but you will be required to engage with him in between these sessions and to support him in his learning, socially and academically. They hope to give him a mix of home-based tutoring sessions and activities out of the house, so would require someone who can drive. He is autistic and has ADHD but is a fun and engaging boy who loves to be active playing ball games, gymnastics and trampolining. He is artistic and creative so someone that can support these interests is essential. They also have a chilled 9 year old boy who loves socialising with his friends, enjoys all sports and is fun to be around but your primary job is to support the 12 year old boy.

Your duties will be supporting his online lessons, keeping tabs on when tests are and helping him continue to develop his study and personal organisation skills. They have a few face-to-face tutors coming in and out for specific subjects, so it might be filling in if one of them can’t make it, so someone with secondary teaching would be beneficial and being up for taking him swimming / running / something active when there are gaps in the day or facilitating a bit of socialising for him.  This is a great role for an active person with a keen interest in education – without the constraints and challenges of the school environment!

There is the option of more hours if you are up for helping with after school club logistics, school pick ups, children’s meals (family meals would be great) and helping keep on top of the organisation and tidiness of the home. They also employ a cleaner so there is no deep cleaning required but you will need to be happy to hoover and clean when necessary as well as keep on top of the laundry. Organisation, flexibility and a good energy are key to this role.

Nanny Housekeeper near Wells for family of four

July 13, 2026 | Comments Off on Nanny Housekeeper near Wells for family of four

This busy, working, creative family are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented and experienced Nanny Housekeeper to help keep their home calm, clean, and organised.

The large family home is just outside the beautiful city of Wells in a village, set in a picturesque, 3 acre, setting in the lovely Somerset countryside. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a large family home and be proactive, organised and with a muck in attitude. They have two school age children (14 and 12) so someone who has experience of children of this age would be beneficial.

Your housekeeping duties will be all cleaning of the home, laundry and ironing, changing bedding, meal prep for the family, some batch cooking would be beneficial. Tidying, organising and decluttering to support family life, grocery shopping and putting away online food shop deliveries, some occasional family errands such as Post Office, Dry Cleaning, Charity shop drops etc. Along with assistance with organising trades people e.g. boiler servicing, window cleaning, gardeners etc. Childcare duties will include homework support, school pick ups, preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children and in the holidays taking them to the cinema, bowling, out for a walk and take the girl to riding.

This position is ideal for someone who is thoughtful, calm, and understands a dynamic creative neurodiverse family. Able to support running a family home, with family members sometimes present. The home is shared with a dog, a puppy and a cat – so comfort around animals is a must and the girl loves riding too.

There is a live in option too – a fully self contained studio flat with downstairs kitchen/diner & upstairs living area and bedroom in one open space complete with separated ensuite and walk in wardrobe area, which comes furnished.

This is a permanent position.
