Are you a fun, friendly and active nanny looking for a lovely live-in role? A wonderful family based in Esher, Surrey, are looking for someone to care for their two children, aged 13 (boy) and 10 (girl), Monday–Friday. The role is wrap-around during term time, with full days during the school holidays.
Both children are very independent and self-sufficient, and they love being active, getting out and about and trying new things. They’re looking for someone who enjoys joining in with their adventures, has a positive and relaxed approach, and is also confident in setting boundaries when needed.
The role will involve the usual childcare and nursery duties, as well as cooking for the children. There will also be some occasional errands and general helping out, so someone who is happy to muck in and be part of family life would be ideal.
The family have a lovely dog, so being comfortable and happy around animals is important. You’ll have your own bedroom and ensuite, with plenty of space to relax and have your own downtime.
During term time, the role is mainly before and after school, finishing around 7–8pm when Dad gets home from work. During the school holidays, the role becomes full-time, although the children are often out and about with activities and plans. The family are very warm, social and family-orientated, with wider family living nearby. They’re looking for someone who will enjoy becoming part of their busy but relaxed family life.
