A warm and welcoming family living in Highbury are seeking an experienced, energetic, and reliable part-time daily nanny to care for their three children, aged 8, 6, and 2.5 years. The role is to start on 1st September and offers 24 hours per week, working Monday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm to 7:30pm, and Wednesday and Friday from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. In addition, the nanny will work four agreed weeks of the school holidays from 8:30am until 7:00pm. There is also the option of working a full day on Saturday should the nanny wish to do so.
The salary on offer is £27 gross per hour, equivalent to approximately £36,774 gross per annum. Duties include collecting one child from school each day, taking the children to their activities, supervising homework, preparing and serving dinner, and overseeing bath time. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the earlier start allows time for making the children’s beds, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and preparing a family meal. There is no laundry required, as the family employs a housekeeper three days a week. Both mum and dad are French, so they require the nanny to possess excellent English communication skills to support language development.
The family are looking for a nanny with previous childcare experience who is warm, proactive, and full of positive energy. They would love someone who is organised, flexible, and able to confidently manage the varying schedules and needs of three children. No driving or travel is required for this position.
