Baby nanny role in Winchester SO21

This is a lovely opportunity to join a busy, professional family caring for their baby girl, who will be 6 months old when the position begins. The family are looking for an experienced, qualified nanny to work Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–7:00pm (30 hours per week).

They are seeking someone with a Montessori-inspired approach to childcare—someone who encourages independence, learns through play and exploration, and supports their daughter’s development in a calm, nurturing and engaging way. They are looking for a nanny who is proactive, genuinely invested in their little girl, and who will become a valued part of the family.

Mum works from home full-time, and Dad splits his time between home and the office. When they are at home, they are very much working, so the nanny will have sole charge of their daughter during working hours. They are therefore looking for someone confident, capable and happy to take full responsibility for her care and daily routine.

Both parents enjoy an active lifestyle, love food and travelling, and are looking for a nanny who will provide a fun, stimulating and enriching environment. Duties will include following the baby’s routine, attending classes and groups, enjoying walks, and encouraging age-appropriate developmental milestones through play and everyday experiences.

In addition to childcare, there will be some light housekeeping duties to help keep on top of the home (the family employ a cleaner), along with preparing family meals, occasional cooking, and walking the family dog. However, the little girl’s care and wellbeing will always be the priority.

The nanny will need to be a driver to commute to the family home. An automatic nanny car will be provided for use during working hours.

If you’re an experienced nanny looking for a warm, welcoming family and a role where you can make a real difference during a little one’s first year, please apply as soon as possible to be considered.

3 – 5 day Nanny, Trumpington, September start

August 6, 2026 | Comments Off on 3 – 5 day Nanny, Trumpington, September start

A fantastic new position has arisen in Trumpington to care for 3 children who are 12, 9 and 2. The role is 2-7pm 3 days per week – Monday- Wednesday but there is scope for this to be 5 days per week too.

You will be joining a lovely family where the main care is of the 9 year old boy and younger 2 year old as the 12 year old is pretty self sufficient. The 9 year old boy does have autisim and is non verbal so whilst some SEN experience would be valued, it’s not essential as long as the right candidate is willing to learn and be patient. He loves cars and music and the youngest child loves books and stories!

The main duties of the role will include taking care of the children once home from school and nursery – cooking their dinner and creating a safe and warm environment of them. In the hour or so before the children arrive home some light housekeeping duties would be needed – laundry, organising the children’s uniform and preparing the dinner. If you can speak Italian that would be a lovely bonus!

The role is to start in September.

If you are a kind, patient and proactive nanny then please do get in touch!
