Two Day, Live-out Nanny required for Family in Beeston, Nottingham.
A lovely family of 4 are looking for a permanent Nanny to join their family, initially for 2 days per week. The family have a 3.5yo and a 1 yo and are looking to create a long-term partnership with a wonderful Nanny.
The role will comprise of 2 full days one of 9 hours, and one of slightly shifted 7.5 hours. This will involve providing sole charge care for their 1 yo while mum is at work on a Wednesday – taking the little girl to classes and groups in the local area as well as enjoying activities at home or days out. A Nanny who enjoys planning weekly activities, and enjoying groups relevant to ages and stage of development and finding friends in the local area would be a good fit.
On a Thursday the nanny will need to collect both children from Nursery and provide care for them all afternoon and into the evening, enabling the parents to enjoy an evening out (there is scope to make this every other week if preferred). This is a long-term role – the family intend to have more children and plan to increase the Nanny’s days/hours at this point.
A confident driver is required for the nursery run, and standard nursery duties; including cooking simple meals from scratch for the children, keeping the playroom tidy and organised and managing the children’s laundry, are required for the position. Both parents enjoy being involved with their children so the ideal nanny would be flexible to enabling the parents to spend some time with the children when they are able to – for example, giving mum or dad half an hour to play with the children and getting on with the nursery duties during this time.
