The family are looking for someone who is outdoorsy and passionate about childcare with a level 3 or above qualification in early years. The nanny must be able to drive, a car can be provided for use on duty.

Although this is just a Friday role, they would love someone who has the flex and availability to support on some nights and potential to help with extra days in the week on occasion. This is not essential, but would be a real bonus for them.

A lovely family of 4 based in Uppingham are seeking an experienced, caring and reliable nanny to join them from September to provide part-time after-school care for their two daughters, aged 5 and 7. The family would like a candidate looking to stay in at least the medium term. The role will involve school collections on at least two days each week, all 3 days will require supporting the children with their evening routine, including homework, preparing dinner, and providing care until parents return home. A full driving licence and own car are essential for school collections. During the school holidays, there may be the opportunity for some full-day care by mutual agreement. This is a lovely opportunity to work with a welcoming family who are looking for a nanny to become a valued and trusted part of their children’s lives.

Part Time Nanny Role in Crick, Northampton

July 20, 2026 | Comments Off on Part Time Nanny Role in Crick, Northampton

A welcoming family living in the beautiful countryside near Crick, Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time Nanny to join them from around the middle of September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive family environment with two young children, currently aged 2 years and 3 months and would suit a candidate looking to build a long-term partnership. Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is essential.
The role offers a blend of sole-charge and shared care. Mum is currently at home, and Dad works from home around twice a week. As the parents will be around the ideal candidate will be a nanny who works confidently alongside parents, communicates well, reads the room, and has a genuine team-player attitude. Someone who can confidently adapt to the family’s routines would be a good fit. The ideal candidate will have strong nanny-specific experience and be confident caring for both children together. Excellent baby knowledge, including weaning and bottle preparation/sterilisation or a relevant childcare qualification would be highly desirable.
The family’s toddler loves spending time outdoors, so the family would love a nanny who enjoys spending time outside, and who will make the most of enriching activities, local classes and plan fun adventures; maintaining strong communication skills to ensure this can be balanced with the shared care element of this role. The family have a dog (who has a dog walker) and two cats, so a lover of animals is needed. The family would appreciate a candidate who can use their initiative to assist in the care of the animals occasionally.
