We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of working with young children and ideally who has previous experience working with a parent with a disability, worked within rehabilitation or as part of a team.
Mum has an acquired brain injury and is in recovery from surgery. This is a role that combines childcare and rehabilitation support. The post holder will be part of a wider rehabilitation team that is supporting Mum and her family on her rehabilitation journey. They are looking for someone to help alternate weekends 5pm Saturday until Monday morning. There is the possibility of one overnight a week and potential for more hours to cover the other support worker’s holidays.
The boy enjoys creative play, dinosaurs, football, swimming, outdoor play and there is plenty of outdoor space to explore and they live in a rural location. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, engaging in fun activities and have a muck in attitude. Your duties will include child’s laundry, changing bedding when required, cooking meals for the boy and providing stimulating activities and days out for him.

Live in or out flexible Nanny/All-rounder role in Ringwood, BH24 moving to Salisbury SP5
This family are looking for a Nanny/All-rounder to care for their 1 year old little girl. They can be super flexible on the duties, hours, days; it is most important that they find the right person to join them long term. It is a minimum of 4 days a week – Monday to Thursday. Ideally someone who is able to offer two full days nannying Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.30am to approx. 6pm (although full duties won’t start until the little one wakes in the morning) and wrap around care on the other days while she is at nursery from 9am to approx. 5pm. On these days whilst at nursery, there is the option of additional hours of housekeeping/gardening/farm work/bookkeeping – depending on the candidates experience. Essentially the family are very happy to be make this a lovely full time role for the right person and can be flexible with the additional duties in order to make the hours up.
The role can be either live in or out. The live in role has the option of either the top floor of the home comprising of a double bedroom, en-suite plus another room, or a two bedroom annex – can be chosen as per the nanny’s preference. The position could also be hybrid where the nanny lives in during the early starts, and returns home at weekends/days off.
Mum will be commuting to work in the city Monday to Thursday and dad will be working on the farm hence the early starts. It would be ideal if someone could assist with some occasional ad hoc morning weekend hours too.
Childcare duties to include preparing healthy meals and snacks, creating age appropriate activities at home to help reach developmental milestones, planning fun trips to local parks, going out for walks etc and all usual nursery duties such as children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy etc.
During the wrap around care days if someone is looking for extra housekeeping hours, then there are duties such as laundry, tidying, changing the beds, ad hoc errands, cleaning etc that can be done.
If the candidate has any experience with gardening, farm work or bookkeeping – additional hours could also be available to assist with these during the wrap around care days.
The family currently live in Ringwood, BH24 and are moving to Salisbury SP5 towards the end of the year. An outdoorsy, creative and fun nanny who is happy to muck would be a great match.
