Part Time, Live Out, Nanny, Amersham, Buckinghamshire

June 9, 2025 | Comments Off on Part Time, Live Out, Nanny, Amersham, Buckinghamshire

Are you an experienced nanny who enjoys caring for school age children?

A fabulous role has become available working with a warm and welcoming family of four in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. Although the parents occasionally work from home, this will be a sole charge role.

They are seeking an experienced and active nanny to join their family and provide excellent care for their children; a boy aged seven and his little sister aged five. The children are active and like going to the park and playing in the garden, as well as indoor fun such as reading stories, Lego, drawing, crafts and baking. As well as engaging with the children in their hobbies and interests, working with the children to help with homework, encouraging good manners and behaviour will also be part of the role.

During term time (34 weeks) you will work Monday-Thursday, 07.00-09.00 returning at 14.30-19.00 and Friday, 07.00-09.00, returning at 15.30-17.30 (30 hours/week).

In the school holidays (18 weeks), the hours will change to longer days, when you will work on Wednesday and Thursday, 07.00-19.00 and Friday, 09.00-15.00 (30 hours/week).

Your salary will be split evenly across the year.

In the mornings you’ll give the children breakfast and help get them dressed and ready, before driving them to school.

Before collecting the children from school at the end of the day, you will have time at the house to prepare a nutritious meal for them to have for their tea, and to help with tasks such as the children’s laundry, keeping their bedrooms and playroom organised and tidy, ensuring they have everything they need for the next day (uniform and bags prepared, etc). Although there is a weekly cleaner, any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (keeping the kitchen tidy, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc).

Once home, you’ll give the children tea, help with any homework and engage with them with reading or other fun activities. You’ll also help them with bathtime and getting ready for bed before their parents come home to take over.

In the school holidays, the parents would like you to care for the children at home, engaging them with fun and educational activities, or taking them on local day trips, meeting up with their friends to help them to socialise, always keeping them happy and safe.

At the end of the day, you will leave all used rooms tidy, ready for the parents to take over.

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence. There is a fully insured car to use while on duty, however use of your own car is preferred and duty mileage would be paid.

If you have a genuine love for working with children, an understanding of their individual needs and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Location of the job: Amersham, Buckinghamshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Two years
Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 hour Paediatric First Aid

Full Time, Live In or Live Out, Nanny, Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire

May 28, 2025 | Comments Off on Full Time, Live In or Live Out, Nanny, Gerrards Cross Buckinghamshire

A warm, professional, and outdoorsy family located in Gerrards Cross is looking for a kind, nurturing, and fun nanny to join them long-term and become a valued part of their lives.

A live-in candidate is preferred, with a private bedroom and bathroom provided, as well as full access to the house and a home gym. However, live-out candidates will also be considered. The salary will be adjusted accordingly.

You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00 (47.5 hours/week), with some flexibility preferred, depending on circumstances (e.g., business travel, family outings, special events), to be agreed together with the nanny. There could be occasional additional evenings and weekends (with advance notice and paid as overtime).

There could be occasional travel with the family (not required, but strongly preferred).

You’ll be joining a warm, respectful household that values collaborative parenting, open communication, and clear, kind boundaries. The parents aim to create a warm, structured environment built on mutual respect and open dialogue. They value a nanny who can align with their emotionally intelligent, consistent approach.

You will have sole charge of two cheerful, bilingual children – a two-year-old boy and an almost six-year-old girl. The main focus of the role will be the younger child, especially while his sister is at school. He will start part-time pre-school in January 2026, transitioning to full-time by May. The role will continue during school hours, though working hours may shift (to be agreed together). You’ll also care for the older child in the afternoons, during school holidays, and when she’s unwell.

Both parents work – Mum from home full-time, and Dad occasionally from home. They handle the morning and evening routines, including getting the children ready for school and bedtime.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing attentive care for the toddler during the day.
2. Supporting the older child after school, on holidays, and sick days.
3. Creating engaging, educational, screen-free activities appropriate to both ages.
4. Organising outings, playdates, and group activities.
5. Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals (veggie-first, mostly gluten free)
6. Handling nursery duties (children’s laundry, keeping their spaces tidy).
7. Supporting the family with light household help, such as cleaning the kitchen after breakfast and dinner, and tidying up common areas used during the day.
8. Driving the children as needed (a duty car is provided).

A Polish-speaking nanny would be a bonus, but this is not required.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a professional, dedicated nanny who’s looking to build a long-term relationship with a welcoming and appreciative family.

Location: Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: August 2025
Experience: Minimum two years (in a similar role)
Training: 12-hour Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (update)
Qualifications: Childcare qualifications preferred; relevant experience essential
Pets: None
Driving: Required – clean licence and confidence driving in the UK
Car: Duty car provided
Days and hours required: Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:00 (47.5 hours/week)
Pay: Live-in: £37,050 gross per annum / Live-out: £44,460 gross per annum
Overtime: £15/hour (live-in), £18/hour (live-out) – paid by mutual agreement

This family is looking for a cheerful and friendly nanny who would like to have plenty of fun – along with providing lots of love and support.

The children go to school each day. During term time (34 weeks) you will be required for 37.5 hours each week. The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (board games, reading, jigsaws, craft, singing, imaginary games etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park. In the school holidays, when there will be more time, the family is happy for the children to go on fun outings and to visit friends, so they can mix with other children, keeping them safe and happy at all times.

You will provide the girls with healthy and nutritious meals (home cooked as often as possible). Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc. The family has a cleaner twice a week and someone who does the ironing.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver, with a clean licence. There is a car for use on duty.

URGENT – Wonderful Family Seeking a Full-Time Nanny (Live-in or Daily), Henfield, West Sussex, ASAP!

April 30, 2025 | Comments Off on URGENT – Wonderful Family Seeking a Full-Time Nanny (Live-in or Daily), Henfield, West Sussex, ASAP!

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced, proactive, dedicated and caring full-time Nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in Henfield, West Sussex (near Brighton). This is a long-term, permanent role, offering either a live-in arrangement (with a private studio flat nearby) or a daily position for someone who lives locally.
The family includes three teenagers: one aged 16 and twins who are nearly 13. They’re looking for more than just a nanny. They want a mentor, role model, and positive presence in their children’s lives — someone who can support their independence while encouraging organisation and confidence.

About the Role
This is a varied, busy position for a true all-rounder with experience working in high-net-worth households, with older children and teenagers, particularly those with SEN needs. A background in working alongside other private staff is essential, as you’ll be the sole-charge nanny within a professional household team.
The children enjoy golf, dirt biking, fashion, flying, and travel, so an energetic, confident, and engaging nanny will thrive here.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide full care and support for three teenagers in a nurturing, structured environment
• Homework help, school and activity transport (extensive driving in luxury vehicles)
• Liaise with the family’s PAs, housekeepers, and chef; assist with event coordination
• Light housekeeping focused on children’s areas and laundry
• Occasional cooking for the children, online shopping and returns, and running errands
• Travel internationally with the family during school holidays and assist with travel logistics
• Proxy parenting when required
• Pet care for two cats when the family is away

Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a nanny in private households with older children
• Experience supporting children with SEN and an understanding of independent school routines
• Confident driver with a clean UK licence and experience driving luxury vehicles
• Highly organised, discreet, adaptable, and professional
• Smart in appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to commit to flexible hours and international travel

Position Details
• Location: Steyning (near Brighton), West Sussex
• Start date: ASAP, June or July 2025!
• Hours (Live-in): 7am to 7pm plus 2 nights babysitting per week
• Hours (Daily): 7am to 7pm with a 2-hour break plus 2 nights babysitting
• Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends, proxy parenting, and travel
• Accommodation: Private studio flat for live-in candidates
• Pets: 2 cats
• Driving: Essential; vehicle provided
• Salary: £55,000 gross (live-in) / £65,000 gross (daily)
• Requirements: Enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid, childcare qualification

This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, skilled nanny who wants to make a lasting impact in a warm, respectful, and active family environment.
