Their little one was born prematurely at 24 weeks and is now home and doing incredibly well. The baby is currently on a low level of oxygen (0.1 L/min) and has recently completed a sleep study, with the hope that they will be able to come off oxygen soon.
This is a waking night role, and the successful candidate will provide attentive and reassuring care throughout the night, including making observations and monitoring the baby. The baby is bottle-fed and is progressing beautifully.
The ideal candidate will be medically trained or have recent experience working within a clinical setting, and will feel confident caring for a premature baby. The family are looking for someone calm, nurturing and confident, who can provide them with reassurance and support overnight.
It is important that the successful candidate is confident in following NHS guidelines, the baby’s care plan and safer sleep practices, while working closely and sensitively with the parents.

We are delighted to be working with a wonderful returning family who are looking for an experienced Maternity Practitioner to support them with their fourth baby, due in early January 2027.
The family are looking for a confident, knowledgeable and nurturing practitioner who can provide comprehensive maternity support during the early weeks, particularly while mum recovers following a C-section.
For the first two weeks, the family require full maternity cover of approximately 20 hours per day, providing hands-on support with the new baby and allowing mum the time and space to rest and recover. Following this initial period, the role will transition to extended nights, approximately 4/5pm until 7/8am, for the remainder of the placement.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident Maternity Practitioner with excellent newborn knowledge and be fully up to date with current NHS guidance and safer sleep practices. They will be confident supporting mum with her individual feeding choices, whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding or a combination of both, and happy to gently introduce a suitable routine as the baby settles into family life.
A calm, nurturing and reassuring approach is essential, particularly during the early postnatal period. The candidate must also be comfortable and confident around older children, as the baby’s siblings are very excited to welcome their new brother or sister and will naturally be an important part of family life during the placement.

Event nannies are wanted to assist in the running of a creche on various match days. The nannies need to have experience in working in a nursery or as a private nanny. This creche is held at Sunderland football stadium.
As part of the Matchday Crèche team, you will ensure a safe, secure, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children of players aged under 2 during matchday events.
The role/duties for this position are overseeing educational and fun activities, managing registrations, building relationships with the parents of the children, responding appropriately to any incidents, accidents, or concerns alongside following established procedures.
At the moment there are 6 dates (see below) that the event nannies would be required to work, these don’t always fall on a Saturday and the times of the creche’s are given in advance.
As the creche is for the match days and will have players children coming in to play it is very important that the nannies are professional at all times.
Days and dates required are:
Saturday 12th and Wednesday 16th September.
Saturday 10th and Saturday 24th October
Tuesday 5th and Saturday 7th November.
