A lovely opportunity for an experienced Maternity Practitioner to join a family in a long-term night role. The family are looking for a reliable, nurturing and knowledgeable practitioner who can provide consistency and become a trusted part of their family as it continues to grow.
The role will initially focus on caring for the family’s youngest baby, who is bottle-fed and currently he’s settled into a wonderful routine, waking only once during the night. There is an older sibling within the family, although support with them would only be required occasionally, such as when the family are travelling, which they do frequently.
The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting established routines, settling babies and offering gentle sleep guidance when needed. A sound understanding of current NHS recommendations and safer sleep practices is essential.
The family are particularly keen to find someone with experience of working with families on a long-term basis, who values building lasting relationships and providing consistent, high-quality care.
They are looking for a proactive and flexible team player who is happy to adapt to the family’s needs and offer support where required as their family grows.

Job Start Date: Early November 2026
Contract End: November 2028 or longer
Location: Gloucestershire
Gross hourly Rate: £20 per hour (Net)
Hours of work: 7:30pm – 8:00am
Nights required: Monday – Friday nights
Specialist or expert required: Certified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner Certificate (L3 minimum).
Driving required: Not within the role
