March 17, 2026 | Comments Off on Full Time, Live Out, Nanny, Speen, Buckinghamshire
Starting in mid-March or April, a fabulous full-time nanny role has become available in Speen, Buckinghamshire. The family is extremely friendly; both parents are professionals and share a love of music, films, sport, and travel. They are looking for a kind, caring, and fun nanny who can stay long term and become part of their happy family. The role would suit someone who enjoys planning engaging activities, has a good sense of humour and is proactive and thoughtful in their approach, contributing positively to the smooth running of family life.
They live in a beautiful house in a semi-rural location, alongside their friendly Cockerpoo dog, so a dog lover is essential.
Although one parent works from home on the 09.30-17.30 days, this is a sole-charge role, caring for one active and happy little boy aged four and his baby brother, aged five months.
You will work a 48-hour week, structured as follows:
Two days: 07:00–19:00, Two days: 09:30–17:30 and Friday: 09:30–17:30
The two longer days will be agreed between you and the family and may change from week to week, although plenty of notice will always be given. Some flexibility with hours will be required in case the parents need to work late. Any additional hours worked will be paid as overtime at the agreed hourly rate.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, helping them to reach their developmental milestones. This will involve a mix of educational and stimulating indoor activities (such as reading stories, sensory play, singing, and age-appropriate games), alongside plenty of outdoor play and walks to the park as well as groups and activities, allowing the boys to mix with other children while ensuring they are happy and safe at all times. As the eldest child attends pre-school, finding activities to support and complement his learning will be required.
As you will be responsible for some school runs, you must be a confident and careful driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be reimbursed weekly at the current government rate.
As the family employs a cleaner, this role involves nursery duties only. However, some help in keeping the household running smoothly would be appreciated, such as emptying the dishwasher and ensuring all rooms used are tidy at the end of the day.
Nursery duties include keeping all areas used by the children clean and tidy (kitchen, children’s rooms, playroom, etc.), staying on top of their laundry, and managing their wardrobes. You will also be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks each day, with home-cooked food whenever possible. You should be confident with the weaning process and happy to batch cook so that food is available for the children at weekends.
This is a wonderful opportunity and would suit someone looking to make a long-term commitment.
If the role sounds like something you would enjoy, please apply below.
