July 27, 2026 | Comments Off on Nanny for a Delightful Two-Year-Old Girl in Brondesbury, London

A warm and welcoming family is looking for a kind, nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their happy and curious two-year-old daughter.
Their little girl attends nursery each morning, so the role will begin with nursery collection at approximately 11.30am. Once home, she enjoys a lunchtime meal followed by her nap. During this rest period, the nanny will be responsible for child-related duties such as preparing healthy meals, keeping play areas organised, sorting and rotating toys, children’s laundry and ensuring everything is ready for the afternoon.
When she is awake, the focus is on providing engaging, age-appropriate care that supports her development in a fun and natural way. The family loves their daughter spending time outdoors, exploring nature, visiting parks, attending soft play, playgroups and enjoying a variety of stimulating activities. The nanny should be confident planning creative, educational and play-based experiences that encourage her learning, confidence and overall development.
The family values a gentle, respectful approach to childcare. They have clear boundaries and routines in place and are looking for a nanny who will reinforce these with warmth and consistency. Someone who can help guide their daughter through her emotions, encourage positive behaviour through explanation, and support her emotional development with patience, kindness and understanding will be an excellent fit.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a caring and proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys building strong relationships with children and becoming an important part of a happy family home.

July 26, 2026 | Comments Off on 4 or 5 day Nanny/ Housekeeper, Live in or live out, September start

A fantastic new position has arisen in Cambridge CB2 for a 4 or 5 day Nanny/Housekeeper which can be offered on a live in or live out basis from September.

You will be joining a really lovely family who have recently relocated from California. They have two happy children – 4 and 7 -who will be attending full time nursery/school and so the role will be a combination of housekeeping and nannying during the term and then will be predominantly nannying during the school holidays (private).

Your main duties during the term will include laundry, tidying and organising and cooking for the children. Changing the beds and clearing up off the dishes etc and generally keeping check on stock levels and things the children might need. Additionally, you will feel comfortable helping with homework and reading. During the school holidays, you would plan age-appropriate activities and day trips for the children. There is a swimming pool at the home so you would also be happy to go swimming!

The hours are ideally from 11am – 7/730pm though a later stay on one evening a week for babysitting would be ideal. Shorter days can also be offered if preferred though the hours of 4-7pm ideally would be covered.

The family are casual and informal and are very used to having help in the home. They do work from home full time so the nanny must be comfortable with this. They are also dog lovers and own 4 so you must feel happy with this – though no particular dog care is required as part of the role.

If living in, a beautiful separate studio can be offered. It is completely self contained with it’s own entrance which is above one of the garages and away from the family home. There is a kitchen, living area, dining area and double bed. This can be used all year round for personal use.

This is a really lovely role for someone who loves helping a home run smoothly and takes pride in their work but equally loves caring and working with children . Please get in touch today if you think this could be you!

The family is moving to a beautiful newly built home in Potten End, Hertfordshire. They are looking for a proactive self-starter who uses initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives on anticipating and resolving the day-to-day challenges of a busy household.

The children are looking for an intelligent and friendly person who will help keep them organised and entertained. They still enjoy playing, and the boy in particular loves playing football in the garden and taking part in other games.
The contracted hours will be Monday to Friday, 07.00- 19.00, plus one four-hour babysitting session each week, on a day to be mutually agreed.

The main childcare responsibilities will be before and after school, with household management duties during the day. During the school holidays, the childcare element of the role will increase. The family prefers to contract the full hours to allow for flexibility (for example, when the children are off sick or during school holidays). However, there will typically be 2–3 hours of downtime during the day while the children are at school. In the school holidays, there will be the possibility of starting a little later and finishing a little earlier.

There will also be occasions when the parents need to travel for work, in which case overnight stays will be required. These will be agreed in advance and paid as overtime.

As well as engaging with the children in their hobbies and interests, you will help with homework and encourage good manners, positive behaviour, and healthy eating habits.

During term time, you will be responsible for school runs and ensuring the children have everything they need for school each day, including sports kit, school uniform, and other essentials. During the school holidays, there will be opportunities to enjoy fun days out with the children, including picnics, walks, bowling, cinema trips, visits to the zoo, and meeting up with friends. Sometimes, it may be as simple as spending time with them while they watch TV or read a book.

The family employs a cleaner three days a week, who also takes care of the family laundry. In addition to childcare, your duties will include:

• Preparing family-friendly meals (homemade wherever possible)
• Keeping the house running smoothly between cleaning visits

• Booking children’s medical appointments
• Managing grocery shopping, including meal planning, placing orders, unpacking deliveries, and purchasing additional items as needed, gifts, etc

• Managing household and school administration, including organising tradespeople, paying bills, obtaining and comparing quotes, booking restaurants, and researching activities
• Working with work PAs to help everything run smoothly
• Staying on top of occasional tasks such as holiday packing and seasonal decluttering

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car for school runs, activities, and household errands. Duty mileage will be reimbursed.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, energetic, a competent cook, and an excellent communicator who ensures everyone knows what is going on. The family is looking for someone who is self-motivated, practical, and full of common sense, and who would enjoy becoming a valued part of their family life. * Top Job* Fulltime Nanny, Hammersmith, London

July 21, 2026 | Comments Off on * Top Job* Fulltime Nanny, Hammersmith, London

A wonderful, down-to-earth family based in the Brook Green area of Hammersmith is seeking an experienced, full-time sole charge nanny to care for their delightful 8-year-old daughter. The role is to start in early September, with the opportunity for a handover alongside the family’s current nanny during August before the family goes on holiday. The salary on offer is between £65,000 and £75,000 DOE.
The position is Monday to Friday, working 7:30am to 7:00pm during term time and 8:00am to 7:00pm during school holidays. Although the hours are long, there is the opportunity for ample downtime during the school day in term time, for the nanny to do as she pleases, once the morning routine and nursery duties have been completed. The school she attends is also conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the family home. The families current nanny has been with them for four years, reflecting the positive, supportive, and happy working environment the family has to offer.
Their daughter enjoys swimming, music, (including violin and piano) arts and crafts, imaginative play, and fun outings. The family is looking for a proactive, respectful and nurturing nanny who genuinely enjoys the company of school-aged children and nurturing curiosity and independence. They would love to find someone who is able to create a calm, happy, and stimulating environment where their daughter can continue to learn, thrive, and have fun. The family’s values centre around kindness, good manners, and maintaining a warm and supportive home. They are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term position and who will become a valued, trusted and long-term member of the household, providing consistency and continuity for their daughter.
The role will include school pick-up, after-school care, homework support, arranging age-appropriate activities and playdates, preparing healthy meals, and planning engaging and educational activities. Child-related household duties, including children’s laundry and keeping bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised, are also expected. Occasional travel with the family is required, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are important, although this is not extensive. There are no pets in the household, and a driver is not required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable, and experienced nanny seeking a long-term role with a lovely family in a vibrant part of West London.
