Rutland is England’s smallest county and is the perfect place to spend time enjoying the great outdoors with family. Rutland Water offers wonderful, picturesque trails ideal for family walks and bike rides. There are also activities including watersports and fishing for older children.
Harborough
Located in the heart of rural England, Harborough is a great place to explore, with historic market towns and plenty of outdoor activities for children. Market Harborough was recently voted the most desirable place to live and has a wide variety of shops, eateries and open space for family picnics and a good run around for young children. It’s also home to the iconic Foxton Locks, Britain’s largest canal lock staircase.
