Vetting process of our London Nannies
Every Harmony at Home Nanny and Maternity Nurse undergoes a strict vetting and interview process before they can register with us. All Nannies will have been interviewed by us, and will have had their qualifications, references and identification checked. All London Nannies must have an updated DBS and an up-to-date Paediatric First Aid – or be willing to obtain. We ensure that recent references are checked and presented to you.
All Nannies are checked and updated when we present them to you, and we tell you exactly what we have found out about the Nanny during our stringent checking procedures.
How to find your own perfect London Nanny
Your first step is to register with us. One of our friendly London consultants will then contact you and talk through your requirements, and to help establish which of our London Nannies might be suitable for you. We don’t charge a registration fee and there’s no obligation to use our London Nanny Agency.
What do Nannies in London Earn?
Live-out Nannies in London earn an hourly rate of between £20.00 – £30.00 per hour gross. This depends on qualifications, experience, hours required and duties.
A London Afterschool Nanny will work a minimum of 4 hours at a rate of £24.00 per hour gross.
A Live-in London Nanny has a minimum hourly rate of £14.00 per hour gross, as their accommodation and bills are paid for by the family.
London Nannies typically work Monday-Friday, 10-11 hours per day.
If you require care in the week and over the weekend, many nannies are happy with working weekends, if they receive one or two days off in the week, or additional pay.
