You will be caring for one delightful baby girl, aged one. She also has two older sisters, aged four and six, but they will be at school, so the main focus of childcare will be for the baby. Mum will be returning to work after maternity leave, so this will be a sole charge role. Both Mum and Dad work from home in their separate offices. Mum or Dad like to do the school runs if they are able to, but you will be on hand in case they are busy.
The hours for this position will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 08.00-17.00 (27 hours/week). There will be a need for a little flexibility with hours due to the parents’ work commitments; however, any additional hours and mutually agreed babysitting will be paid as overtime.
The family would like you to provide a balanced approach to development, supporting their little girl as she reaches her milestones. This should include a range of indoor activities such as reading stories, singing, puzzles, and imaginative play, as well as plenty of time outdoors – in the garden, walks and trips to the park or library.
In addition to general childcare, you will be responsible for nursery duties. This will include preparing healthy, nutritious home-cooked meals for the children, keeping the children’s areas organised and tidy, and occasionally managing the children’s laundry.
As the family live close to the centre of town, although not essential, if you do drive, you will need to be a confident, careful driver with a clean licence. There will be use of a car on duty if required.
You will hand over the children at dinner time, so Mum and Dad can take over for the bath and bed routine.

Are you a fun loving, happy nanny who enjoys spending time with school age children?
A wonderful part-time nanny role has become available working alongside Dad, caring for his three energetic, friendly and confident girls aged 14, 11 and 9. The family lives in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
They are looking for an active, nurturing, creative and happy nanny to help keep them organised and have lots of fun adventures.
The children like to spend time outside playing sports and going to playgrounds, as well as indoor activities such a playing games, crafts and baking.
The hours will be Monday, 12.00-19.30, Wednesday, 12.30-20.00 and Thursday, 07.30-19.30 (27 hours/week). The role will be all year round, but in the school holidays there could be additional ad hoc hours that will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime. There could also be some ad hoc hours for evening babysitting, that will also be paid as overtime or given as time in lieu, so a candidate who can be flexible would be ideal.
During term time, while they are at school, you will have time to help keep the children organised – helping to keep their areas tidy, making sure they have everything they need for the following day (uniform, sports kit, etc), keeping up with school admin, overseeing homework and arranging play dates.
In the school holidays you will have time to take the children to fun and educational activities and meet up with their friends. The children also love to play board games and have sleep overs.
You will take care of the children’s laundry and prepare a healthy and nutritious meal for them each day, home cooked as often as possible, involving the children if this is something they enjoy. Making a little extra for Dad for when he gets home from work would be appreciated.
Although the family has a weekly cleaner any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (emptying the dishwasher, running errands, etc).
You will need to be a careful and confident driver with your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid. There is also the possible use of a duty car if required.

This friendly professional family are relocating from London to Hermitage in Berkshire in December, and they are looking for a sole charge nanny to join them in January 2027. This is a full time, exciting role and can be live in or live out (if live in, the accommodation live in, is a bedroom in the house with its own bathroom ) . The days required are Monday -Friday, ( with half a day off on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday ) , so a 50-hour week. The hours required are 7.30am-6.30pm ( apart from the half day once a week ). The salary offered with this excellent role is £18 gross an hour- less for live in ( £46,800 gross per annum ) They have 4 children, 2-year-old twins and a 5 and 7year-old. are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic nanny to join their busy family. They would love someone caring and cosy for their twins who are ages two-year-old, to take them to activities, playdates, and be chatty and engaging with them. Also, someone fun and energetic for the older boys, (seven and 5 years old) . The twins are in a good routine and sleep for 2 hours at lunch although this may drop down to one hour as they grow, and a high standard of care for them all day . The role would involve helping to get the older children up and out in the morning with school runs/ collections (the school is 15 minutes away at Elstree ) so a confident driver is a must, and a car can be provided on duty .They have loved their previous nanny and look forward to someone new joining them for this exciting new chapter in Berkshire . A welcoming family living in the beautiful countryside near Crick, Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced, Nanny/Housekeeper to work with them as a Family Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive family environment with two young children, currently aged 2 years and 4 months and would suit a candidate looking to build a long-term partnership. Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is essential.
The role is not a traditional Nanny position but will offer a blend of Nanny and Housekeeping responsibilities mainly in a shared care capacity, but confidence to take sole-charge to enable mum to get out of the house when needed is important. The family are looking for someone who can genuinely become an extra pair of hands within the home and help keep the household running smoothly.
Mum is currently at home and wants to play a big part in her children’s care. Dad works from home around twice a week. As the parents will be around the ideal candidate will be a confident team player, who communicates well, reads the room, and has a genuine team-player attitude. Someone who can confidently adapt to the family’s routines would be a good fit.
The family’s toddler loves spending time outdoors, so the family would love a nanny who enjoys spending time outside. The family have a dog (who has a dog walker) and two cats, so a lover of animals is needed. The family would appreciate a candidate who can use their initiative to assist in the care of the animals occasionally. This will be a long-term position for the right candidate.
