A friendly family based in Wandsworth (SW18) looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper who can provide exceptional household support to two busy professional people and after-school care for their two school-aged children (ages 9 and 11).

The role is primarily focused on housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organising, errands) during the day (11-4pm), with after-school childcare responsibilities (4–7pm) (including school pick-up, preparation of evening meal, support and supervision of after-school routines (including homework and music lessons) and preparation of school uniforms and bags for the next day). Extra hours for babysitting may be required by arrangement (additional payment).
They are seeking someone kind and self-sufficient, with excellent initiative, exceptional organisational skills and a warm approach with children.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of the home to a high standard
• Clean kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and other rooms regularly (once or twice a week)
• Manage family laundry (including daily washing, weekly change of bedding and towels, regular ironing, tidy folding and putting away of clothes for all family members)
• Excellent chef who can cook nutritious and tasty evening meals for children
• Keep children’s rooms, bathrooms, clothing, and uniforms clean, tidy, and well-organised and assist with holiday packing
• Supervise and assist with children’s after-school activities (including homework) and organise playdates
• Manage household supplies, bins, recycling, and online grocery orders
• Liaise with tradespeople and handle occasional errands (e.g. dry cleaning, post)

Location of the job: SW18 Wandsworth
Minimum experience Level for this job: 3-5 years in housekeeper/nanny role
Hours of work: 11am-7pm
Days required: Mon-Fri
Driving required: Preferred (especially driving children to and from clubs in holidays)
Job Start Date: 5th January 2026
Pay: £43,680gpa
