A lovely family based in Notting Hill, West London, is seeking an experienced, warm and trustworthy Nanny to join their busy household on a live-out basis. (Option of additional hours with housekeeping)
The family have two children, aged 5 and 8, and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys becoming part of a family and can provide a warm, reliable and supportive presence. The role will be shared care alongside Mum and will involve school runs, after-school care and helping with the children’s day-to-day routines.
The successful candidate will also be happy to prepare simple family meals, take care of the children’s laundry and keep their areas tidy, alongside general housekeeping and helping to keep the home organised. The family are looking for someone who is happy to be hands-on with the normal day-to-day running of a busy household and who enjoys a varied role combining childcare and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant childcare experience and will be warm, discreet, reliable and organised, with a genuine love of working with children. They are particularly keen to find someone who enjoys being part of a family environment.
The position is Monday to Friday. For a nanny-focused role, the hours are approximately 3:30pm to 8:00pm. For a Nanny/Housekeeper, the hours would be approximately 1:00pm to 7:30/8:00pm.
This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced French or Lithuanian-speaking candidate looking for a long-term role within a warm and welcoming family home in West London.
French and/or Lithuanian speakers are desirable as these are the languages spoken in the home and they would like candidates to nurture these languages.
