A lovely family based in Hackney are looking for a warm, engaging and proactive nanny to care for their bright and curious 3-year-old son from September.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a creative and academically minded nanny who enjoys supporting a child’s development through play, learning and exploration. Their little boy loves playing outdoors, reading and music, and the family would love to find someone who can nurture these interests while introducing new ideas, activities and experiences. A love of sports, books, creativity and learning will be key for this role.
The position is for 4–5 hours after school, 4 days per week, with additional hours available during school holidays. The family are also expecting a new baby in January, and there will be an opportunity for increased hours when Mum returns to work following her maternity leave.
Alongside childcare duties, the nanny will be happy to prepare and cook nutritious family meals and support the smooth running of the afternoons and evenings. Languages would be a lovely bonus but are not essential.
The ideal candidate will be kind, reliable and energetic, with a genuine passion for child development and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can thrive. This is a welcoming family looking for someone who will become a valued part of their home for the long term.
