A warm and approachable family are seeking an experienced Nanny to care for their 1-year-old baby. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in caring for babies and will demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and confident demeanour. This individual will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of care, ensuring the well-being of the baby.
The primary responsibility of the nanny will be to assist with the baby’s daily routine, including supporting feeding times and preparing meals. In addition, you will oversee general nursery duties, ensuring the environment remains safe, clean, and stimulating. A key aspect of the role is to engage the baby in activities that foster early childhood development, such as playtime, walks to enjoy fresh air and nature.
The family live in an idyllic location in the countryside, making it ideal for a nanny who is accustomed to rural settings. With ample outdoor space, there are plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence. An on-duty vehicle will be provided for your use.

Location of the job: Halstead, Essex.
Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny required.
Details of any training needed for this job: 12 hour Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (update).
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 Childcare if possible, baby experience advantageous.
Hours of work: 9am – 6pm.
Additional Hours: May be required, to be agreed upon in advance.
Days required: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
Driving required: Yes
Job Start Date: August 2025
Pay: £18 Gross per hour / £25,272 Gross per annum.
Benefits: Car provided for on duty use.
