A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced live-out housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming family near Colchester, Essex, assisting in the care and upkeep of their beautiful home. The family is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated professional to join them long-term, helping to maintain calm, organisation, and the highest standards throughout their busy household.
The role encompasses all aspects of high-standard housekeeping, including daily light cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, living areas, and communal spaces, as well as bed making, linen changes, wardrobe management, laundry, and general household organisation to ensure the smooth running of the home.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, take pride in their work, and consistently maintain high standards. A reliable, proactive, and well-organised individual capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently will thrive in this position.
The family has a wonderful three-year-old. While this position does not require a dedicated nanny, a genuine love of children and a willingness to assist with occasional childcare would be highly advantageous.

Hours of work: Monday & Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
Days required: Monday – Friday
Additional hours / days: To be agreed in advance.
Pets in the home: Yes, two cocker spaniels.
Driving required: Yes
Job Start Date: November 2025.
Pay: £15.00 Gross per hour, £17,160.00 Gross per annum.
