Fun, School Holiday Nanny near Shrewsbury, Shropshire

A warm, caring, and charismatic family based south of Shrewsbury are seeking a wonderful nanny to support them during the school holidays. They have three children aged 9, 5, and 1. The youngest is an engaging and eager little learner who will be attending a local nursery during the day. The 9-year-old enjoys a variety of clubs, particularly dance and drama, so support with drop-offs and pick-ups for these activities will be required. The 5-year-old has global developmental delay, including challenges with speech, language, and gross motor skills. He uses a walking frame and needs thoughtful, supportive care to assist with his mobility and communication. Knowledge of Makaton and experience or training in Portage would be highly
beneficial. The ideal nanny will be creative, hands-on, and confident in supporting additional needs. A love for arts and crafts would be a great bonus to bring fun and imagination to the holidays.
There is option for additional over time including babysitting for this role.

Minimum experience Level for this job: 2 years’ experience working with children

Hours of work: 9am – 5pm
Days required: Monday – Thursday
Pets in the home: The family have 2 small dogs, 11 chickens and 2 tortoises. The nanny will not
be responsible for the animals.

Job Start Date: End of July
Pay: £15,960 gross per annum
