A welcoming and relaxed family based on the Herefordshire/Welsh border are seeking
an organised, communicative and proactive House Manager to join their beautiful,
modern, state-of-the-art home four days per week. Working collaboratively alongside
the parents and a Norland Nanny, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running
of both the household and the children’s weekly schedules. This will include supporting
the coordination and execution of routines, including activities, appointments and
school runs for two teenage boys. A confident, calm and reliable driver is essential, as
you will be responsible for transporting the boys.
The role also involves preparing delicious, nutritious family meals, with a focus on
organic, high-quality ingredients. A genuine enjoyment of cooking sophisticated yet
family-friendly food is important. You will take pride in maintaining a clean, orderly and
well-run home, managing tasks such as laundry, ironing, bed changes and general
housekeeping across all areas of the home to a high standard.
The household already has excellent systems in place, and you will be someone who
can follow and enhance these with efficiency and attention to detail, working as part of
a team. There is also some oversight of a second property, focusing on organisation
rather than cleaning. Occasional, light childcare support will be required.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience working in households with children
Qualifications required: Level 2 Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid
Hours of work: 45 hours a week
Days required: 4 days a week
Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (but family are flexible)
Pets in the home: 2 dogs and chickens
Ages of children: 9 months old, 14 years old, 16 years old
Driving required: Yes, own care on duty preferred
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £35,000gross per annum
