A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and self-motivated Housekeeper to join a welcoming household in the Worcestershire countryside. This is a varied and rewarding role within a beautiful 10-bedroom stately home, offering the chance to become an important and valued part of the household. The role will include a mix of daily, weekly, occasional, and annual housekeeping tasks to keep the home running smoothly. Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, hoovering, polishing, ironing, washing, and general organisation, as well as supporting with decluttering and maintaining a calm, well-ordered environment. The family value warmth and friendliness, and the Housekeeper will provide a reliable and positive presence in the home, offering companionship to the residents and their much-loved dog. Animal care will also be required, particularly when the family are away, so a genuine love of animals is important. In addition, support with hosting and preparation for parties, festive occasions, and family dinners will occasionally be required, adding variety to the role. There may also be the possibility of assisting with driving duties when needed. This position would suit an experienced, organised, and proactive Housekeeper who takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a welcoming home environment.
Location of the job: Near Hallow, Worcestershire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience in a similar role
Accommodation: Self-contained spacious 1,000 square foot flat in the main house with separate entrance, generous kitchen, bathroom, living space and bedroom. Rent, bills and Wi-Fi covered. Beautiful views over the grounds and park.
Hours of work: 4 hours a day (additional 4 hours a day of overtime hours and pay if required)
Days required: Monday – Friday
Driving required: Yes, own car necessary
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £12, 698 Gross Per Annum (Over time rate £15 Gross Per Hour)
Additional Requirements: No Pets
