Kind After School Nanny in Forest of Dean

A warm and nurturing nanny is sought to provide afterschool care and companionship for an 11-year-old girl living in the heart of the Forest of Dean. The family have recently built their dream home, designed to blend beautifully with nature and surrounded by 14 acres of woodland and open land. It’s a peaceful, creative environment that the family describe as their safe space, for connection and relaxation.
The family are looking for someone who can build a genuine connection with their daughter and share in the activities she loves. She enjoys painting nails, pampering, hanging out, and all sorts of creative activities. She would thrive with a nanny who is happy to get involved, laugh alongside her, and encourage her interests.
Animals play a big part in life at home, with micro pigs, dogs, and cats all on site. A love of animals and the outdoors would be a real bonus, as much of the family’s lifestyle is centred on enjoying their land and the nature around them.
The nanny will take on a supportive role, becoming a trusted maternal figure and working in open partnership with the family to nurture the daughter’s emotional and social development.
Location of the job: Longhope, Herefordshire
Hours of work: 3pm – 7pm
Days required: Monday – Friday
Pets in the home: Micro pigs, dogs and cats
Driving required: Yes, essential
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £15 gross per hour
