Diligent Part Time Housekeeper for Manor House in Worcestershire

A wonderful opportunity and a stunning manor house in the Worcestershire countryside has
become available. A knowledgeable and confident professional will work alongside the
principal in the weekly maintenance and larger annual projects. While on a weekly basis the
often used areas will be prioritised, the principals enjoying hosting family for annual festivities
and visits. Therefore, someone to support preparing bedrooms and hosting spaces for these
occasions is essential. The principal hopes that once the housekeeper develops a weekly
rhythm of duties they will be motivated to move onto further projects such as the careful
cleaning of antiques and heirloom furniture and decorative pieces. Care, reliability and trust is crucial for this role. The home
is a seven bedroom, four bathroom, four reception rooms. The housekeeper will have full
autonomy of the utility room space. The principal is kind, hands-on, and deeply values the work
that goes into maintaining a well-run home. They look forward to forming a comfortable and
trusting relationship with their housekeeper, someone who will take pride in their work and feel
part of the household team.
Location of the job: Near Croome, Worcestershire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Experience with Antiques and in a similar role.
Hours of work: 8 hours a week
Days required: To be agreed but is flexible.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £20 gross per hour
