A busy, rural and lively family are looking for a wonderful Housekeeper to join them on a daily basis, supporting the smooth running of their household. Duties will include the daily tidying and cleaning of the family’s beautiful Georgian home. The Housekeeper will take the lead on the tidying, cleaning, laundry and ironing routines (excluding bedding), ensuring the household is kept organised and running smoothly. There will also be occasional childcare-related duties, including school pick-ups and helping with the evening routine, such as preparing simple family dinners. Occasional babysitting and house-sitting will also be required, with plenty of notice given. The family has dogs and ponies, so someone who genuinely enjoys being around animals would be a bonus. The ideal candidate will be friendly, gentle and warm, with a flexible and hands-on approach. They should enjoy becoming part of a busy family household and be happy to pitch in wherever needed. This is a lovely opportunity for a passionate Housekeeper who enjoys variety, family life and working in a beautiful rural setting.

Hours of work: 40 hours a week (suggestions 9-5 or 10-6, some days later starts and finishes are required)
