Nanny and Childcare Specialists
This interesting opportunity has arisen for a family of four just outside Bath for an experienced, part time Nanny/Family PA, in an idyllic and stunning countryside environment.
They are looking for somebody gentle and kind with a sense of fun, who can be creative. They do not have a television, some access to television is allowed through iPads, they have quite a traditional home, with lots of cooking, craft, and reading stories. Somebody who is happy to read with the children, cook, and play card games would be ideal and someone well organised, efficient, with practical intelligence to support Mum through the week when Dad is working (Mum has recently had surgery). The children are home educated, most of this is done in the large outdoor area so a nature lover would be ideal. Your duties will include scheduling the children with their work, taking them to friends houses and choir group, cooking, tidying up the kitchen, and the children’s mess with the children, and helping with their laundry (they have a separate cleaner for the house twice a week).
The children are 15 and 12 years, both have dyslexia so some understanding of this would be useful. They are happy and bubbly children with a good sense of humour. Healthy eating is very important to the family so they require someone who is a good cook as you will be required to cook regular healthy meals and the family are vegetarian and pescatarian. This is a lovely varied role and although it is a minimum of 22 hours per week there are likely to be extra hours as they will require some Thursday mornings, babysitting and occasional overnights. They are also looking for someone who would be happy to dog and house sit every other month on a weekend.
If this sounds like a good role for you get in touch asap!
