A kind and reliable Nanny is sought for a family in Chard to help in the care of two children aged 7 and 5 years.
This position requires flexibility as the days/hours will vary each week due to Mum’s working shift pattern, she will know a month in advance (sometimes sooner) however you will be paid a minimum of 22 hours per week. During the term time your hours will be worked between 7.30-9am and 3-8.45pm. From the new year there may be some evenings until 10.30pm and the occasional Saturday or Sunday either 7.30am-5.30pm or 11.30am-8.45pm. During the school holidays there may be the option of extra hours. They are requiring an Ofsted registered Nanny and are willing to contribute towards this.
Role and responsibilities:
– School drop offs and pick ups
– Encouraging them to get ready for school and maintaining the morning routine.
– Preparing breakfast and tea.
– Light household duties (Washing and packing away dishes, keeping the home tidy and encouraging the children to tidy up after themselves).
– Supporting them with their reading.
– Supporting them with bath time.
– Following the bedtime routine.
The two boys aged 7 and 5 attend the local primary school and the eldest enjoys arts and crafts, and will hopefully be starting Beavers soon. The youngest loves sports, in particular football and both enjoy going to the park and baking.
