A warm and welcoming family looking for an experienced, reliable, and proactive part time housekeeper to support their home near Cirencester.
The role is primarily focused on housekeeping and household organisation, with occasional light support around children when needed. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in creating a calm, well-run household and enjoys being part of family life. Qualities they are looking for include: Discreet, trustworthy, and proactive, a calm and warm presence around children, highly organised and detail-oriented, who is comfortable working independently.
Your duties will include:
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-presented home
• Daily tidying of living spaces and kitchen reset
• Vacuuming high-traffic areas and light mopping as needed
• Wiping surfaces and maintaining general cleanliness
• Emptying rubbish and managing recycling
• Laundry incl occasional ironing
Weekly Deeper Cleaning
• Thorough cleaning of bathrooms
• Mopping floors
• Dusting skirting boards and less frequently used areas
• Changing bed linens
• Rotating deeper kitchen cleaning (fridge wipe-down, cupboards, etc.)
They would also like you to support with family and household admin such as grocery shopping, running errands, help with cooking meals or batch cooking and some support with the children (5 year old and baby due in July) when needed but the majority of your duties will be housekeeping.
This is a permanent position.
