A family of five are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to help them run their busy home near Stroud.
This is a lovely opportunity to work within an informal and welcoming private home. The family are looking for someone who can work independently and take the initiative on what tasks need carrying out on each day. Your duties will be all housekeeping, with occasional childcare, cleaning of the 5 bedroom home, laundry, ironing, changing of bedding, managing and organising the children’s wardrobes, cooking meals for the children and any other errands required to ensure the home runs smoothly. They also require someone who has a little childcare experience as they would like to find someone who is happy to care for the children on occasional overnights/weekends if the parents are away and there may the ad hoc school pick ups required. They also have a cockerpoo who will require occasional walks and feeding if parents are not around.
The family live in a lovely 5 bedroom cottage, with two sitting rooms, dining room, large kitchen and utility downstairs and 5 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms on the 2nd floor. The family are sporty, enjoying cricket, golf, hockey, gardening and cooking. The children are 15 and twins of 10 years. If you have the experience required and are easy going and organised then this could be the perfect family for you!
